We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. lovely location, nice and quite part of busy whangarei. Will 100% book this home again. I felt like I was staying at a relatives house, it was so lovely. the double bed was comfy but a little small for my partner and I so if you're on the taller or bigger side, you may not have the BEST sleep. otherwise, 5/5, 10/10 :)

Delightful spacious apartment in quiet neighbourhood with great view from the patio. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Everything we needed was supplied, including parking. Short drive to grocery stores, and beautiful walks in the area. Easy short drive to The Basin for restaurants and cafes and gentle strolls. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay at Gunters Hideaway! The place and views were stunning, we could hear the kiwis at night and the walk to matapouri Bay was well worth it!!! 10/10 would recommend! we'll hopefully be back in the future thanks again!!
