Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Just a short walk to lovely Loch Leven and the village's shops, pub and eating places. Explore magical paths, trails and waterfalls as well as higher routes directly from the cottage. No need to drive. On National Cycling Route 78 and local routes for all abilities. Ballachulish is well-positioned for days out around the area and further afield.

Located in Glen Etive near Glen Coe the Chalet is a cosy private retreat for two. The main living area has a comfortable sofa, king sized bed and a dining table that seats two. A kitchenette with oven and hob provides all basic cooking facilities. There’s no WiFi at the property but you can get 4G on EE. We provide: A welcome basket 🧺 Salt, pepper and oil. Shampoo and soap.
