Holiday rentals with breakfast in Glasgow

Dr Karen and James are the most lovable AirBnB hosts I've seen in the UK. We planned our holiday at the last minute and they were very quick to respond. They were in touch before we arrive at the house and wanted to be sure we arrive there safely :) Karen opened the door even before we ring the bell. She showed us the house, asked us if we are hungry and served us cookies and tea before bed- like a mum :) It felt like home. Karen and James very lovely couple with excellent communication. Furthermore, James gave us a ride to Glasgow city centre in the morning because he was worried that we might not catch the tour bus. He woke up early and even prepared breakfast for us. Just a night was enough to feel like they are my friend. If I go to Glasgow again, I'd like to stay there.

Rhona and Hugh were amazing hosts. Their house is beautiful, clean and spacious, without a doubt one of the best places I have ever stayed. But the best thing was the hospitality and kindness of both, always ready to help and make you feel at home. I would definitely go back.

What a wonderful house. Everything as described. Didn't get to meet the host as unfortunately she was away dealing with an urgent family matter. Despite this she still allowed me to stay and was extremely responsive. Location was perfect for the airport. I will certainly use again when required for any future flights. Thank you so much

The house is perfect, with a big bedroom. I enjoyed the chat with Eileen about different things. Eileen made me feel like home. I really recommend the house.

I had a lovely stay here! Patricia was very kind and welcoming. The apartment is quiet and cozy, with everything you need both in the kitchen and in the room. The bus to the city center stops right outside the house, which is super convenient. Highly recommended!

Diana is a responsive and friendly host. This room is suitable for both short and long stays. Diana does her best to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere during your stay, and I will definitely take advantage of her hospitality again!

We had a great stay with Misha! She was friendly and responsive, and the place was walking distance to some wonderful museums, parks, and pubs.

This was an absolutely lovely stay. Everything from the cleanliness of the room, to the breakfast served to the friendly conversations had among the host and the fellow travelers. Also, the subway station was just two blocks away for those looking to explore Glasgow. I could not recommend this Airbnb anymore. Just perfect!

Victoria was a completely wonderful host. I had such a warm welcome to her lovely flat and, upon leaving, she actually gave me an umbrella as I’d neglected to bring anything waterproof to Scotland. Her dog is very friendly and should not put anyone off booking. Great location and everything clean and tidy. I would 100% recommend.

A last minute booking, which turned out to be a real find. Hosts were excellent at staying in touch and flat was spotless. Nice private first floor flat with good view over the street. Everything seems to have been renewed recently and is in good order. Super comfy beds with hotel quality bedding and towels. Smart bathroom. Do yourself a favour and give it a try, hopefully we'll be back.

Libby was so welcoming, friendly, warm and helpful. I felt like l was visiting my friend. The place was located very close to the University of Glasgow, where l needed to go. There are many great cafes and restaurants as well. So the location was perfect for me. Libby’s house was also very cute with nice pets (June dog and two nice cats). Libby was also very flexible to fit my schedule. I had a very comfortable stay!

Absolutely fantastic house, was cozy, clean, and perfectly located. The host Jem’s was responsive and made check-in seamless. The house had all the essentials, plus a few thoughtful touches like coffee and local guides. close to shops and restaurants. Everything matched the listing photos. Easy to find, central if you have plans in Central Glasgow

It was going from a home to another home❤️ if you are planning on staying with Nikki, don’t hesitate to book. Not only was she incredibly welcoming, she made me feel so at peace and comfortable. Upon arrival I was offered tea, a friendly conversation and a hot water bottle ready in my bed for the cold Scottish weather! She made sure I was always warm enough throughout my stay even going as far as to offer me a luxury wooden jumper! The place is cozy, with fascinating books to indulge in and Dagmar to keep you company 🐈 breakfast was provided and I was encouraged to treat the space like my own. Nikki’s place has a wonderful view to the surrounding nature and the inside is full of colour and character! Shower was wonderful and I was welcomed to use the Scottish cosmetics! She was always on hand if I needed to ask anything or felt unsure, prepared to advice with activities to do. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest yourself, staying with a local, then here it is.

Zoe's lovely home is perfectly located on a picturesque, quiet leafy street, yet just a short walk from streets filled with an abundance of great places to eat and charming local shops. Zoe’s place is also within walking distance of some of Glasgow’s most beautiful sights, such as the Cathedral, the iconic Necropolis, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and West Brewery. If you’re not keen on walking, there are also bus stops close by that take you directly into the city center (a quick 5-10 minute ride). The house itself is exquisitely decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and our private room was meticulously clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay. Zoe herself is the perfect host—warm, generous, and effortless to chat with. We shared many delightful conversations and laughs during our visit, and she offered many a great recommendation for our time exploring. The whole experience felt less like a stay and more like a home away from home. A true gem!

This is the most beautiful b&b in the countryside and so easy to get there to/from Glasgow. Laura truly went above and beyond to make my stay a very special one, and I’m deeply appreciative. Among other things, she helped me get oriented, discover easy ways to get around the area (I was without a car), find great restaurants, learn more about the local culture, and much more. A review would not be complete without mentioning the delicious warm home-cooked breakfast.. I can’t wait to return.

I highly recommend you! I had a wonderful time. First, they all are so kind and warm-hearted. I've always felt like I'm home. She is good at cooking. Everything was delicious. Just thinking of it makes me hungry. Second, the nature was so beautiful, peaceful and calm. It was like healing my mind. Lastly, I experienced new things. Though it's personal, first time seeing sheeps, shearing and bee stuffs. All was interesting for me. Everything was perfect! I'll definitely come back to them!

What a wonderful place to stay. Sheila was so kind and welcoming. There was fresh fruit and a lovely breakfast including fresh raspberries and strawberries and homemade jam. The cottage in the Stable is spacious and has lovely views. We would have loved to stay longer than just the one night and will definitely return. Absolutely recommend Dumbain Farm we loved it.

We can see why Laura is a Superhost. She reached out to us the day before check-in to see if we had any questions and to offer suggestions for places to dine upon our arrival. When we arrived she was there to greet us and to acquaint us with the accomodations. Her place is comfortable and inviting, located in a peaceful scenic setting, yet close to what the city has to offer. After we enjoyed a good night's rest, Laura served us a delicious breakfast in time for us to depart to the airport.
