On the ground floor there is the hallway, the living room and the kitchen, which was carefully renovated two years ago. There are views of the lake and the high mountains from the windows.

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Tjaldur Cottage is one of the 'Múlafossur Cottages' located by the world-renown waterfall in the village Gásadalur on the Faroe Islands. As a bonus the cottage is only a 10-20min drive from the only Faroese airport, shops and cafes as well as some of the most astounding Faroese sceneries such as Drangarnir, Tindhólmur and the lake Sørvágsvatn.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
