Cabin holiday rentals in Gjesdal Municipality

Ein toll gelegenes, sehr schön eingerichtetes und hervorragend ausgestattetes Ferienhaus!!! Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einfach und unkompliziert. Für warme wie vermutlich auch für kalte Tage (wir hatten keine ;-) fehlt es an nichts. Die Gegend ist wunderschön. Die Herbstfarben waren fantastisch. Das Haus liegt am Ende der Zufahrtsstraße. Man kann ungestört die großartige Sicht auf Seen und Berge genießen. Wir sind über die verbrachten Tage sehr glücklich und haben die Entscheidung für dieses keine Sekunde bereut!

We spent a weekend at Kjetil’s place and it was an amazing experience! The cabin is spacious (the rooms are actually bigger than how they look in the pictures), beautiful, complete with everything we needed, and not to mention, the JACUZZI which we enjoyed so much! We booked this place without any comment or reviews from others as this was a new listing back then, and we didn’t regret taking the risk. It was all worth it. Kjetil was very kind to help us with everything we needed, he was easy to communicate with, and the cabin is perfect for a big group like us — three families, with children and a 3-month baby. We’re hoping to come back here for next year’s winter season!

Meg og typen hadde et utrolig fint opphold! Fin hytte og fine omgivelser. Roar er en utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsom vert. 🫶🏼

Jeg havde et par dejlige overnatninger i hytten, og det var fantastisk at kunne bruge den opvarmede spa efter en lang vandretur om dagen. Alt i alt et godt ophold.

Veldig koselig tur og hytta. Vi var 7 venner som trengte et sted for et rolig, avslappende og koselig kveld sammen i Sirdal. Stedet var perfekt for oss. Vi slappet av og Jacuzzien var det cherry on top! Anbefales 100%!

We really enjoyed our stay at Susannes place in winter. We especially liked the well equipped kitchen (even were able to make waffels and cakes), the jacuzzi and the cozy fireplace with amazing view into the mountains. Susanne was easy reachable and was always really helpful. Would definitely recommend the place. Be aware that it might be difficult to reach the place with snow, but that is the price for nice nature. You can start hikes directly from the place. Also the city was very quite at that time (no problem for us).

Kjetil var rask i responsen og vi var veldig heldig med at det faktisk var ledig i tidsrommet vi trengte det på en dags varsel.

Flott, romslig hytte i vakre omgivelser. Kan anbefales på det sterkeste. Vert svarer raskt.

Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner, als auf den Fotos. Wir hatten totale Privatsphäre in dem Haus, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Ole war immer zu erreichen und hat uns bei jeder Frage helfen können. Wir können diesen Ort absolut empfehlen, vor allem wenn man Ruhe und Natur sucht. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

La cabane de Vilde n’est pas juste une cabane, elle offre tout le confort souhaité. L’emplacement est très agréable avec vue sur le fjord, joli jardin avec des oiseaux dans les arbres au petit matin, et accès à la petite plage en trois minutes à pied. Très proche des ferrys au départ d’Oanes (10 minutes en voiture), et idéalement situé pour les randonnées incontournables du Lysefjord. La communication avec Vilde via la messagerie AirBnB est très rapide et efficace, et Vilde et Endre sont très amicaux. Toute la famille recommande chaudement cette location !

Had an amazing stay over the weekend - the cabin is a gem in incredibly beautiful surroundings, and we even woke up to snow! The host was very helpful and communication went smoothly. He gave clear instructions about check-in, how to reach the cabin, and sent timely and useful information about the weather forecast - suggesting to park the car in the lower parking lot since it was going to snow, ensuring that we would be safe. Despite a minor mishap on our part during the stay, the host was understanding and helpful, making sure everything was resolved smoothly.

Wir hatten eine super Woche in Lindas Berghütte. Lediglich das Wetter hätte etwas besser sein können. In der Hütte ist alles vorhanden, was man während seines Aufenthaltes braucht. Linda ist sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich und hat unsere Fragen immer schnellstmöglich beantwortet. Die Empfehlungen für Ausflüge waren super. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen. Wir würden sie nochmal buchen. 😊

What can I say. I simply love this place. This has been our fourth visit and probably won’t be our last. The views alone make it already a fantastic place, and then a very cosy house with all amenities and lots of possibilities to go hiking, running, cycling and fishing. What else could you want? Sissel and Lars are wonderful hosts who are very lovely to talk to and make you feel very welcome. If there is anything, they, or one of their sons, will gladly help you out. Many thanks again for having us stay at your place.

Et vakkert og fredfullt sted på jorden. Enkelt, men det er også en del av opplevelsen og sjarmen. Vi manglet ikke noe. Både kropp og sjel fant roen her. Vi laget mat utendørs, padlet i kano og sov godt. Hunden stortrivdes også. Ragnhild og Dag er virkelig superverter som la alt til rette for et vellykket opphold. Veldig vennlige og raske til å svare. Tusen takk!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Hütte. Die Umgebung ist bei jedem Wetter atemberaubend schön! Es gibt kein Wasser, keinen Kühlschrank und begrenzten Strom, aber die Kinder hatten eine Menge Spaß daran, jeden Tag Wasser aus dem Bach zu holen und Feuer im Kamin zu machen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war es die meiste Zeit kalt genug, die verderblichen Lebensmittel einfach auf der Terrasse stehen zu lassen. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Great place for a weekend or a city break. Very peaceful place with an amazing view and many walking paths close by. " Wildness, but close by to civilisation" communicative and friendly host. Highly recommended.

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Man findet dort die Zeit zum abschalten. Ein tolles Haus und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Ohne Leihwagen wäre es schwierig gewesen, von dort hin und her zu kommen. Wir hatten eine tolles Zeit und kommen gerne wieder!

My buddy and I came out here to do some hiking and fishing. We stayed at Reidunn Lea's place and we had an awesome time - the cabin was comfortable, the location was pristine, and the hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed and equipped us with the right items to make sure we were out on the lake! I definitely recommend their cabin to anyone wanting to be in the Norwegian outdoors.

Vi var så heldige å fikk lov å komme på denne naturskjønne hytta med den vakreste skogen bak hvor vi fikk tilbrakt mange timer. Sitter bare igjen med gode opplevelser fra oppholdet. Vi var heldig med været. Og vann var d i hytta til tross for at d hadde begynt å bli kaldere.hytta hadde i grunn alt man trengte for å få et fint opphold. Vil absolutt anbefalt turen til andre og kunne godt tenkt meg tilbake ☺️ takk for at vi fikk låne hytta.

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. It was exactly the same as the photos and description. Very cosy place to stay for several nights. Having access to a boat (with life jackets) to go fishing was a big plus for us. The hosts where very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend

Absolutely Perfect Stay – A True Airbnb Gem! This was a true Airbnb experience—super clean, beautifully organized, and incredibly welcoming. Everything about the place was just right. The location couldn’t have been better for our trip—perfectly situated for hiking to Preikestolen and exploring an amazing nearby climbing spot. We loved every minute of our stay and would absolutely come back. Venke was one of the best hosts we've experienced. She even wrote a handwritten postcard to receive us with a complimentary Norwegian sea-salt chocolate. Not sure how she knew that was our favorite. :P Highly recommend!

Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und haben die Natur rundherum genossen. Der Bach um das Grundstück ist wunderschön und lädt an einer Stelle zu einer kleinen Abkühlung ein. Eine Empfehlung ist auch der Hofladen wert, den man nach einer halben Stunde wunderschönen Spaziergang erreicht.

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold på denne hytten. Den ligger så fint til med fantastisk utsikt. Svært mange flotte turmuligheter. Bare en liten spasertur til sjøen. Brita var veldig behjelpelig og kontakten med henne var hyggelig. Fikk raskt svar viss vi lurte på noe.

Een heerlijke plek! De inrichting van het huisje netjes en compleet. De omgeving is prachtig! Vanuit het huisje kun je makkelijk wandelen in de omgeving en met de auto naar Preikestolen is ook goed te doen. Boodschappen op een half uurtje in Vikeså.
