Fantastic experience! Anna and Carlos are lovely and helpful hosts, who will help you with everything and can always be contacted. The apartment has the most beautiful view on the Etna, we were even so lucky to see the vulcano being active! You have your privacy in the apartment, including your outdoor porch with palm trees - and not to forget the two quite nosy but really nice and friendly cats, that will definitely give you a visit and are always in for some petting. The area is a little remote, so a car is needed - but that’s no problem if you are there to explore the island. Then it is a great start for different trips to Syrakus, Catania, Taormina or even Agrigent. All in all we were very happy and can warmly recommend the apartment.

Great base location for day trips to Catania/Etna, Syracusa and Noto. Next door neighbor (Giovanni’s cousin) was extremely gracious and helpful orienting us to the area and some of the history of the house as well as Sicily. Very comfortable accommodation. Would love to visit again.

We had a lovely holiday, unfortunately we were out of season ( in October) in Sicily. The surroundings looked like a ghost town , everything was fenced and abandoned. A beach was not available ( had to drive 40 km to get to beautiful beaches). The outdoor area in the property was very nice and well maintained ( nice pool, covered terrace ). Unfortunately, the kitchen was very poorly equipped , untidy and not clean, a pity, does not leave a good impression ! Enough trash can to separate would be great too! I would also like to briefly mention here that we do not want to visit Sicily anymore because this island suffocates in the garbage,very sad !!!
