This little peace of heaven was perfect for our family to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in the front gate to see the house amongst the gum trees and then the waterfall from the bedroom. We felt like we stepped into an old fairytale world with our own treehouse. Everywhere we walked felt like little fairy’s were waiting to greet us. The ferns throughout and stepping stones between each area made for the best adventures. The kids loved watching the frogs and tadpoles in the back pool. The natural pool was incredible and soul nourishing. Our first experience with a natural pool and it was breathtaking, especially being able to swim under the waterfalls. Thank you so much Sarah, we hope to return sometime Soon.

perfect little spot in Hepburn, Sharee was flexible and the place was so easy to check in to, even at 8pm in the dark (they left the lights on for us) bedrooms are get, multiple bathrooms and overall just a spacious environmental! One thing i will mention, coffee and tea is not provided at this house, so bring your own!

Nigel's place was fantastic. Everything about the property was great. Very clean and everything worked perfectly. The view across the paddock was great and the kids had an amazing time exploring the property and trying to spot the kangaroos. We took our telescopes with us and the night star gazing was one of the best we've seen. Highly recommend.

Our family had a truly wonderful and relaxing stay at Corlara. The house struck the perfect balance between feeling cosy and offering plenty of space for the eight of us - plus the dogs! Some of the standout features were: -Fantastic outdoor entertaining area with a pool, spa, kitchen, and fire pit -Well-equipped, open-plan kitchen indoors -Large dining table perfect for shared meals -Warm, inviting indoor fireplace -All the amenities we needed -Thoughtfully designed home clearly set up with guests in mind The surrounding bush block was great for short walks with the kids and dogs, and the property felt incredibly private. Despite the chilly winter weather, we ended each day soaking in the beautifully heated spa — a real highlight of the trip.

Viv was such a wonderful host. Gave my friends and I the option to checkin early and check out late once we realised the weather wasn’t going to be the greatest. Her place is stocked up with more than enough amenities and things to do. Looking to visit again in the future.

Stayed here while attending a funeral and it was a perfect peaceful location. Cinema room a massive plus. Everything was clean and tidy and beds very comfy. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clear instruction on how to use certain things in the home. Had a lovely relaxing 5 days and will definitely be back when in the area. A genuinely great stay. Doug clearly takes great pride in ensuring the house is prepared for a comfortable and enjoyable time. Walkable to the main strip at Woodend, the home is well laid out, well appointed and comfortable. Having stayed during winter, the central heating and wood fire made it a very cosy space to spend cold and wet nights. We would definitely stay with Doug on our next trip to Woodend.

A relaxing getaway with amazing 180 degree views from Mt Macedon to the lights of outer Melbourne. This large quirky house is great for groups wanting to spend time together catching up over a few drinks and nibbles while you watch the ever changing vista and local fauna.

Perfect home for families with little ones. The kids loved the excavator, cubby house and play room. The backyard is a dream and kept them entertained for hours. Indoor coonara was amazing, kept us all snug and warm. The house has everything you need and fairly clean. We made some beautiful memories and would highly recommend this property. Daniel and Mira responded really quickly and were very welcoming. Thanks heaps for having us.

Just spent the long weekend at Connie's place with friends. Despite the cold damp weather Connie's place was the perfect spot to explore Kyneton and the Macedon Ranges. Warm and comfortable and a great kitchen for cooking. Connie is a gem and always responsive.

This is a very comfortable small free-standing house, well-equipped, comfortable and warm, away from the traffic and just ten minutes' walk from Woodend's main street. It was ideal for our needs -- two couples who came for the Woodend festival -- because it was only one block away from the main festival venue.

My partner and I had a lovely time staying at Ross' place. Heaps of space, cute fireplace and beautiful natural scenery. Seeing kangaroos on the property feeding in the morning was definitely a highlight!

We had a relaxing stay over the King's Birthday long weekend. While the weather was wet and cold, the fire kept us warm, the outlook from the dining room engaged us, and the rooms were comfortable. I highly recommend the house to other people.

We had a wonderful time at Lilah's place. It was so clean and cosy and we felt right at home. Her place is beautiful and she makes it so welcoming with lots of local recommendations and fresh bread, milk and jam in the fridge as well as fully stocked coffee pods - all lovely touches which we were very grateful for! The house is a short walk from town where there's so much to do. We will definitely be back :))

Had an amazing experience staying at the Chateau. Kirstin went above and beyond to assist us with securing last minute accomodation when my sister went into labour and we are so grateful for her support. She is such a friendly host and the unit was immaculate and had everything we could have needed! We will definitely be recommending her place to any other family and friends who need a place to stay in the Bacchus Marsh area!

An absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless — check-in was easy, the space was spotless, and every little detail had been thoughtfully considered. The home was cozy, beautifully styled, and exactly as described (if not better!). The hosts were warm, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome. The location was perfect — peaceful yet close to everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

This was a perfect location and size for our family getaway while my wife had training in Mount Macedon. Beautifully presented home in a quiet neighbourhood while close enough for the commute to the VEMI centre in Mt Macedon. Will definitely look at booking again if available next time! And to top things off there was plenty of things to do close by to keep our 18mth old entertained when we weren’t cosy and warm at the house.

We stayed as a family of 5 adults, 2 kids and our dog, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The place felt cosy and inviting - like home from the moment we arrived. Sammy’s fun and friendly welcome note, along with the thoughtful snacks and dog treats, was such a lovely touch. Communication with Sammy before our stay was timely and friendly, with super quick responses. We even received texts to let us know the home would be available for early check-in and late checkout if needed, which was really appreciated. The house itself is light, airy, and super comfortable, with a fun, eclectic style. We especially loved gathering on the big couch in front of the fire and spending time in the dog-friendly backyard, which had loads of space for the kids to kick the footy. The location was great too - an easy walk to shops, bakeries, and pubs. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!
