Nice place in an old town, within walking distance of downtown. You have to be good at walking. In the house there are two flights of stairs, one of which is reasonably stylish. Breakfast is simply perishable croissants, biscuits and 2 types of cake (but tasty) this is ready upon arrival for the days you booked, in our case 2 nights. Furthermore, 2 types of juice and milk. We found the bed on the hard side. The house is a great place to explore the surroundings. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning is wonderful with the sunshine.

We were very happy with the Airbnb. Everything looked very stylish and even more beautiful than in the pictures. It was also very clean. The location is great too – you’re in the old town (Sassi) in just a few minutes, and most places are within easy walking distance. Only some bus stops are a bit more far away. Thank you as well for the kind notes and tips we received – they were really helpful! And one important thing to know: at the end of the stay, there’s a city tax of €2 per person per night for the first three nights. This is a regulation in Matera to help preserve the city. It’s completely understandable, but good to be aware of in advance. Thanks for everything!

Our stay at Nadia's apartment was great, a breathtaking view, very quiet, and Nadia is an exceptional, generous and curious person. A pleasure in every respect!

We stayed in Piermichele's apartment for 3 nights and we had a very good time. The mother, Mrs. Teresa, welcomed us with great kindness. The apartment is perfect for medium to short stays, there is everything, it is practically new and is in a perfect location to tour the village. A stone's throw from the central square. We'll definitely be back and recommend it!
