Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gildeskål Municipality

This must be one of the best airbnbs i’ve ever stayed! The house was beautiful, the surroundings were breathtaking, the neighbourhood was peaceful and I could go on.. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked, it had everything. I dare you name something the kitchen doesn’t have! It made cooking really convenient and versatile. The house was spacious, with space to cook, rest, watch tv, sip wine, and enjoy views. The hosts Lill and Steinar were extremely responsive and helpful to our requests. Steinar even dropped by and gave some recommendations to see the northern lights (we managed to see it faintly from the airbnb too). We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend everyone to visit :)

If you are looking for a quiet, clean and well-equipped place to stay for a few days, Fanny's place will definitely find it. We were super satisfied and can recommend the place at any time.

We had a lovely stay in the cabin, which had everything we needed. The hot tub and bonfire place where nice, and the cabin was in good condition. Quaint and cozy.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Clean n comfortable. Very convenient as it is close to bus stop to Bodø.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Danuta and Robert’s beautiful cottage, and it was the perfect escape! With all the comfort of a 5-star hotel yet so much more character, this place exceeded our expectations. The cottage was incredibly spacious, aesthetically pleasing, and functionally superb. Though we only stayed for a night on our way to Lofoten, we wished we could have stayed longer. Danuta’s homemade croissant desserts were an absolute delight. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. You can clearly see the love and effort they’ve put into their cottage. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a unique and comfortable stay. We can't wait to return for a longer visit!

It’s not often you can switch off the modern world and enjoy a haven of peace, collect your own thoughts whilst listening to the tranquility of flowing water and birdsong. My son and I stopped over here for one night. I could have stayed a lot longer. My son needs his mod-cons - where did I go wrong 😆 The boathouse is decorated and laid out very tastefully. The bed is comfy with enough blankets to warm the coldest bottoms. I’ve never experienced a more luxurious compost toilet than the one in the neighbouring boat shed. The bathroom is the water of the fjord if you dare, otherwise there are wipes and lotions. A solar panel provides power for a small charging box with USB slots for charging phones if required. Otherwise it’s candlepower, of which there are plenty. I had a really comfortable nights sleep and would happily stay again . . . without the needy boy. Note: there is a steep walk down a field and up again, so travel light and keep this in mind if this could be a struggle for you

Beautiful, cozy cottage in picturesque surroundings with awesome views. We were fortunate enough to be able to view super beautiful aurora lights right from the terrace. We got along very well with the somewhat "special" toilet. We would love to stay at the property again anytime.

We arrived very late at night, but were still greeted by a nice and very welcoming host. The place was new and stylishly decorated. A true pleasure to wake up with the lovely view from the bed. We incredibly appreciated the cold beer from local brewery that we found in the fridge.
