The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Ce logement est spacieux et au calme en pleine campagne. Il est authentique, nous avons gardé l'originalité du logement qui était une grande ferme. Nous sommes à côté du GR 36, et profitez de belles balades depuis notre gîte. Venez découvrir notre belle Suisse normande. Le logement est très spacieux aussi bien dans la pièce de vie que l'extérieur. Nos gîtes donnent accès directement au lac de Rabodanges. Je me ferai un plaisir de vous accueillir et je serai disponible pendant votre séjour.

As for Annie, she will invite you to come and enjoy the garden, wonderfully flowered by her care. This gîte is close to many places to visit (Oetre Rock, Rabodanges Lake, the Bagnoles-de-l'Orne thermal baths, but also less than 1 hour from the Normandy coast to visit the landing beaches.
