House holiday rentals in Gibbes

Another great stay at Royal Westmoreland for our family. Location is excellent for all shops/beaches/restaurants etc. Communication with Realtors was spot on, the car hire/transfers/pre arrival food shop was especially helpful. Sugar Cane 12 is beautifully presented and a special mention to Lana for keeping it looking immaculate during our stay.

Stacey's holiday home very near to Hole-town and has everything you need, comfortable and an ideal base for a stay local to Hole-town, with a bus stop at the end of the road it made getting around easy. The kitchen is really well equipped and with the combination of the smart TV allows flexibility for staying in to eat, watching a film, or sitting out on the balcony (the balcony does not have any views but is very quiet, and still a lovely space to sit and chat, play cards or games and enjoy a drink ) There is a pool outside the front door and only used by the other attached holiday homes, there are only a handful of holiday homes in this complex and used by adults only, so our stay was so restful and quiet. Incredible villa in an amazing location walkable to beautiful Gibbes Bay and Mullins Beach. Plenty of space for three generations of our family to celebrate a big birthday. The gardens are mature and so lovely. We saw monkeys and humming birds regularly from the deck. Clean and tidy, we wanted for nothing. The pool was delightful and very well maintained. Communication with Sarah was absolutely brilliant, and her recommendations top drawer! Can’t fault our stay at all- I sincerely hope we will be back again soon, thank you. *****

_The villa is conveniently situated in the northern part of the island, featuring 24-hour security, shuttle ride or free parking by the beach, free towels and chairs, big community pool and other amenities. Our group of eight, including four children, had an excellent time despite challenging weather conditions. The management team was proactive, placing sandbags and providing extra flashlights to cope with Hurricane Beryl. They were always just a text or call away, assisting with pool timer adjustments, sending technicians for minor repairs, and rearranging cleaning schedules due to the hurricane. Moreover, we had no issues with the internet, kitchen appliances & utensils, towels, or insects which we have faced with other rentals in the past. Finally one area for improvement is mosquito control; while they provided measures for protection, the mosquitoes were many and persistent. This place exceeded my expectations. Such a beautiful lovely and cozy home. Very peaceful and quiet. This place was also in a perfect location. Communication was on point. The house keeping was an added plus. Restaurant and beach minutes away. When I come back to Barbados I will be booking this place again. Thanks again for everything.

Great place with all the amenities needed. Truly felt at home. Very convenient location - walkable to the beach and with bus stop at proximity. Marium - Maisha’s assistant - was extremely kind and helpful in booking activities and providing information about local whereabouts. She was very responsive with all the questions we had.

A lovely stay perfectly near everything we needed and nothing more than a walk away. The house was as well equipped as one could want with instructions on everything being so clear - I really can’t fault it and treated the place as I would my own. Very responsive host and house manager if anything was needed - can’t ask for more - 10/10!

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation is in a beautiful setting and is only a short drive away from lovely local beaches (l’d say a car is a must). Comfy beds, everything working, responsive hosts, peaceful ambiance. It was just perfect for us and we definitely consider returning.

It was a great stay for us as a group of 7. you had everything you wished for, plenty of space and privacy for everyone, practical kitchen and functional bathrooms. also being walking distance from one the nicest beach on the island - Heywoods beach - is a great plus!

We love staying at Fabio's place and are returning guests. This beautiful apartment is well-equipped and maintained. We appreciate the fully functional kitchen enabling us to easily prepare meals. We look forward to returning!

Our hosts picked us up from the airport and we were immediately charmed by their warmth which made us feel like family. They even took us shopping for any necessities that we might need. Once we arrived at the home, we fell in love with the place. Not only was the décor lovely, but being a bit of a clean freak... I was very happy to find the home so incredibly clean. Amenities were perfect.. with the hosts thinking of just about everything we would need for our stay. The location was perfect for us, since we rented a car. Driving was a bit of a challenge though..at first.. lol. Beds were super comfortable.. and both room had its own washroom.. which was ideal for us. I cannot say enough of how lovely these hosts were to us. Took us back to the airport for our departure and made sure us and all our luggage were checked in safely. Stayed for 10 days and highly recommend this home and hosts. The only note is that you will need a car to get around.. but hosts have recommendations.

This is my second visit and I can't wait to return. The Villa is a home with space and everything one could possibly need. So close to the beach and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and quiet.

One of the best places to stay in Barbados on my view. Such an organised host, nothing can go wrong as there is an incredible team working with Rob & Lucy. From the cleaner, the gardener and the incredible property management. Very grateful to have been able to stay at this lovely place. Serious thought and consideration has gone in to this property. Our family of four stayed at Scott’s house for a little less than a week and it was perfection. The property was walking distance to both Gibbes and Mullins beach (both were amazing!) and we rented a car to explore other parts of the island. The pool at the property was always clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our two boys (8 and 10) were never bored and are already asking to go back.

Staying at Jaressa's place was truly amazing! She was incredibly understanding and responsive throughout our stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. Davi was an absolute sweetheart ,so kind and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed with a generous selection of snacks, drinks, and even some basic groceries, which went far beyond our expectations. The house itself was spotless, and the instructions for the keys and general house use were clear and easy to follow. The area is quiet and peaceful, offering a real sense of tranquility. It’s just a short walk to the coast road and a nearby bus route, though having your own transportation definitely adds convenience. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will absolutely be back again!

33 Westmoreland was excellent – just as described. It was a picturesque, spacious, and comfortable space, with plenty of room throughout and a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. I’d absolutely recommend it to friends. Carla was a fantastic host – warm, responsive, and quick to resolve any issues within 15 minutes. She checked in to ensure we were comfortable and was always available if we had any questions. We’ll definitely be returning and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Michelle and Pia's Blue Shells was amazing as always. We have stayed here multiple times and loved it every time. Great snorkeling + amazing views + R&JJ's Jamaican Jerk steps away = AMAZING!!! We look forward to staying here again the next time that we are back on Barbados.

We had such a wonderful time at Seahorses. It was a stunning and spacious unit with a lovely view of the ocean. We were right across the street from Thunder Bay which had a really fun bar, beautiful beach and comfy beach loungers. It was easy to get in and out of the unit and the location felt very safe. We loved that it was out of the hustle and bustle of the busier areas but still easy to pop on a bus to get what you needed. Locally, we ate at The View, Seashed, Thunder Bay and Simones but also visited several other delicious restaurants. We even went to the fish market down the street where they filleted a huge pink snapper for us which we cooked at home. Overall, we loved the island and what made it stand out was the friendly and helpful people! We will definitely be back and wouldn't hesitate to stay in this exact unit again. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us :)

Very clean and as described

Simply put: PHENOMENAL. Kimberley's place and the experience she provided was above expectations in every way. The house, pool, and property were immaculate, the view was spectacular, and everything was stocked beyond what you could possibly need. Kimberley's communication was incredible; she was proactive, accessible, and checked in constantly to ensure we had everything we needed. If you've stumbled on this location and by some miracle it's available, I HIGHLY recommend booking it! One piece of advice: rent a car. While the beach is walkable, most of the restaurants and other places to visit up and down the west coast are more accessible by driving.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dario's Airbnb in Speightstown! The property was clean and comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. Located on a quiet, colourful street only a short walk to the beach, and with plenty of restaurants near by this Airbnb was ideal. The property was very well maintained with a beautiful garden in the front, and mango tree in the back offering plenty of space to relax in peace in the sun or shade. The outdoor shower and drying lines were much appreciated on return from the beach. Dario was friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The Banks and snacks upon arrival were a lovely bonus treat! We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Joanna’s villa. The location felt very safe and peaceful, just a 5-minute walk to Mullins Beach. The villa was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed – including a lovely pool we used often. All bedrooms had air conditioning and modern en suite bathrooms with great showers and plenty of hot water. Large bathtubs are also available, ideal for families with young children. We loved the disco lights in the lounge/bar area. We mostly cooked at home to enjoy the villa, though there are plenty of affordable dining options in surrounding areas, if Mullins restaurants feel a bit pricey. Buses to Speightstown and Holetown run regularly, and while we rented a car, it’s not essential. Joanna was a responsive and helpful host with great local tips. Highly recommend! We had such a lovely stay at Joanna’s villa – it truly felt like a home away from home.

Gil was a great host, clear and proactive on instructions into the gated community. House was clean and location close to our favourite spots on the island. Sea shed and local & co. Perfect for our week away. We will be returning.
