Wonderful host! Amazing communication, we booked 50mins before arriving and were welcomed in person and upgraded! Total welcome surprise after a day travelling. The area somewhat resembled an abandoned city, with half finished construction projects and hardly a person in sight, strangely the lights were on in what seemed like a beach resort, again with no one around. For us we actually enjoyed the surreal almost apocalyptic like emptiness of this place. Again, the accomodation was just outstanding! We felt like royalty 😊

Viet was very nice and chill host! The accomodation was clean and airy and we slept well~ The swimming is clean and beautiful! definitely recommend! the island is small and very good for you to turn off and relax~ Viet also helped us with trip to Halong Bay, which can be arranged frm port 10 minutes from the airbnb. You should go! thank you for everything

Thu Ha is the perfect host, getting to the ancient house was both adventurous but also so easy with the help of Thu Ha. We had a wonderful time at the ancient house with the most beautiful view and really good food. It’s a place to find peace and quiet. We would definitely come back, it was the most beautiful place in Vietnam we have been to.

Very kind and lovely host. Easily accessible. The house is like in the pictures. Very spacious and nice. The only bad thing is that it's far from everything, even for a coffee in the morning. It is true that a grab costs 1.3 euros in the marina, where there is more life, but you have to know that you have nothing close to go. The fridge had beers and cocacolas and water (great detail) and had tea to make as well as some food. The house is comfortable for up to 6 people.

Honestly this may have been one of the best places we have ever spent vacation time. The property is an amazing restored estate built in traditional Vietnamese architecture out in the jungle surrounded by mountains. The property is run by Mai and her family who are very sweet and peaceful, and make some of the best Vietnamese food we have had outside of the Hanoi Michelin street food circuit. They made us these enormous feasts of many different dishes for dinner that left us speechless. We were able to get several private tours, bioluminescent plankton night tour and beach hopping-kayaking-seafood feast, which were both cheaper per person than the get your guide/viator tours and way more memorable. Everything was booked for us and we paid a bill at the end so we didn’t have to worry about cash for anything more than just coffee and bike rental in the village. The home stay is located on a beautiful property with a lake and two gorgeous dogs. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful, including organising a scooter for us to rent each day, giving recommendations and organising our bus out of Cat Ba. We would recommend hiring a scooter to get around the island whilst you’re there. Thank you 2Stone!

The scarlet pearl had one of the best boats that we could see from these types of cruises . We had our own waiting area at the harbour whereas all the other cruises were all mixed together . We had a really luxurious experience. I had booked it for my husbands 40th birthday and the staff made it really special by surprising him with a birthday cake at dinner time. Our tour was very well organised. The food was 10/10. We had a 5 course meal for lunch and dinner and breakfast was amazing. The rooms and boat are very clean. The view from our room was stunning . We would like to thank the staff at the Scarlet and especially Jessica and Sam. I was also in communication with Stefan quite a bit before the departure and his response was very quick and he was very helpful. Thank you so much !
