Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gers

I booked Brigitte's home to celebrate my retirement with my children and grandchildren and we were all delighted with the welcome, the village with great shops and this magnificent home. We enjoyed the garden, the games and the heated pool. Each family had their own room... the perfect place for a family or friends. We had a pleasant and excellent stay in this beautiful house. We enjoyed the calm and especially the pool that invigorates. The house was impeccable and a peaceful atmosphere emanated from it. Patrick and Nadine are very welcoming hosts and it was a pleasure to share a moment with them. We can only recommend this accommodation

The house is exceptional, in a very quiet setting. We had a great time between the pool, barbuc and shooting stars. The host provided us with towels and fans (the house stays cool even in hot weather). Special mention to Patrick for his responsiveness and kindness. I recommend it 100%.

We spent 4 days with friends in Viviane's accommodation. We wanted to relax in the countryside and this house is the perfect place! Away from the city, a very nice country house with an unobstructed view of the fields and the Pyrenees, a large terrace, BBQ and swimming pool. Only small downside, the pool was a little green when we arrived, but that did not stop us from enjoying it in 35°! I would 100% recommend!

We had a pleasant stay. Everything is there and made to have a good time relaxing, playing and getting together. Thomas and Audrey are super hosts who are warm and very friendly. We would recommend it in a second.

spacious quiet accommodation. The 5 bedrooms are large, plenty of storage in the accommodation. The living room is large and the 2 toilets (1 on each level) and 2 bathrooms are practical. Jean and Marie Claude allowed us to leave later than the usual time, thank you again We'll keep the address if we have the opportunity to return to the area

Beautiful farmhouse, very well refurbished with a very tasteful decoration. The exteriors are well maintained with a bonus of a cabin at the bottom of the garden that the little ones loved. Despite the mixed weather, we were able to do many activities inside (darts, foosball, ping pong, board games) and outdoor (pétanque, puck and walk to the lake located 30 min from the house) Validated experience!!!

We had a great weekend with friends at Constance and Eric's. Very nice house, spacious and peaceful, everything was perfect! Thanks for this weekend, I recommend it!

Eliane came out to meet me as I arrived and was very kind when showing me around the accommodation. It was ideal for the visit I was making, comfortable, peaceful, well equipped and plenty of hot water. My visit meant I was out for long hours during the day so I can’t comment on how it would have been for daytime stays. However I was there early morning and at bed time, when unfortunately, I did feel a bit embarrassed about disturbing the host in their own rooms, when walking on the very creaky bedroom floor. Sorry Eliane! The apartment is listed as no smoking but asthmatics might need to know that the way the interconnecting is between the apartment and the hosts home means that their cigarette smoke drifts into the apartment. It certainly caused difficulties for me. Due to my departure time, I didn’t see Eliane before I left but thank you for the use of yourcharacterful apartment.

All the positive reviews below are no more than right! We had a wonderful stay in the special house of Joyce and Albert and would like to stay much longer. They have worked with heart and soul to create a beautiful place with a huge garden in which you repeatedly discover new elements of fauna and flora. Joyce and Albert manage to relax with them and were always ready with tips for excursions and visits. We have enjoyed the nice conversations from time to time. This is a gem to cherish!

Very good welcome at Maxime's in a quiet and peaceful environment. A little extra that can't be seen in the photos and the listing, the pool is safe for children with a fence all around!

Our stay at Cyril's was perfect. He was always very responsive, and the explanations regarding our arrival were very clear. The accommodation is very beautiful, very well-equipped and perfectly matched the description. Cyril allowed us to leave later than scheduled so we could fully enjoy our last day. Thanks again!

Ideal house for a family gathering as was the case for us. We weren't stepping on each other's toes, the space is big. Our hosts welcomed us with a small gift that we appreciated. We were able to visit the Gers with the information given by our hosts. In conclusion, we had a great time. Thank you very much.

Had the most gorgeous long weekend at Charlottes beautiful place (honestly the better than the photographs if that’s possible) celebrating my 30th birthday with my friends and family. The house is stunning and perfect to entertain such a large group so comfortably. The indoor/outdoor areas are just lovely to all spend time together without being on top of each other. We hired a caterer, but the kitchen is well equipped and such a fabulous space! Charlotte was really helpful and made arrivals and departures easy, she was also on hand with local knowledge such as activities and taxi numbers. Would definately recommend La Rivière to anyone looking for a large group holiday location.
