Hidden Gem close to Lake, Roscommon and Forest Dunes Golf Course. Looks bigger in person than the pictures. Great back porch for enjoying northern michigan evenings.

Craig’s place was everything we have been looking for! We have 2 rescue dogs who have a hard time being around other dogs. We really wanted a place where they could be free to be themselves out in nature. Craig’s place was very private, with a big property. We went for some lovely walks on the trail, and also explored some locations nearby with great river walks. I have to say that Craig’s place was so welcoming and comfortable. The old cabin feel, the wood burning fire, the dvd selection. We just loved being a bit cut off from the world (but still had a bit of signal.) Craig is so helpful and accommodating. The cabin has everything you need, extra blankets, a full kitchen, fire wood ready, games. Just show up with your clothes (and food) and you will be set! We were just a couple, but there are lots of beds for more guests to stay. We hope to return with some friends in the future and experience everything the cabin has to offer in different seasons! We had such a fun and peaceful weekend at Rob and Carey’s home. It’s perfectly between Houghton and Higgins! Even with a lot of things being closed for the season, we still managed to find some awesome thrifting options and yummy food around us. It was the perfect reset and the home has just about everything you would need and then some. Thank you so much for letting us stay and we hope we’ll be welcomed back in the future! 😊

This is a cute little studio cottage behind their house. Path was easy to find and had automatic lights. Had a full kitchen set up. Has a cute coffee tea set up. Seems as folks come and go you kinda take something leave something kinda deal. I used some of the coffee and left some filters for the next folks that come thru. There’s lots of a lot of board games and some art supplies and even a few books to read. There was a really cool lightning and thunderstorm. Watching it out the windows was nice. The space was pet friendly and worked well for my pups. I recommend bringing one of those screw into the ground tether for your dogs, it made it extra convenient. It was also a nice walk down to the lake with my pups. It’s a shared access for the neighborhood and there’s a long dock. Me and my pup walked out really cool view, gorgeous the sky and the horizon kind of blended in the fog was coming in. 10/10. I never had any issues and the host was fast and responsive.

The cottage was incredibly clean and welcoming. Natalie has truly thought of everything, and the homes was stock well beyond any standard expectation, which made our stay super comfortable. Communication was great from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We had a short midweek visit, but we’re already hoping to come back again to enjoy the firepit and the quick walk to beautiful Higgins Lake. Highly recommend!

The little cabin was exactly what I envisioned. Quiet and calm with lots of trees.

The home was perfect for our group, 4 couples. We traveled to the area to explore the ORV trails. We were able to park our 3 trucks and trailers with no issues. Location of home was close to trailhead, which was ideal for us. We had a great dinner at Cut River Grill just a few minutes away. The lake was literally just down the street, got a view of it when pulling onto the street. The home was clean and cozy. Plenty of kitchen utensils and linens for all your needs. The weather during our stay didn’t allow for a fire but the fire pit area was great too. Would definitely return to home if in the area again! Only recommendation is very small and not important for everyone. I would suggest to have a deck of cards for guests. We normally bring our own but forgot and were not able to locate any in the home. Maybe there were some and they were hiding or other guests mistakenly took them home. Thanks for opening up your home for us to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay over Easter weekend. What a beautiful place you have! The decor is amazing, the bed was so comfortable and this cabin had everything we needed. Check in was simple and the tie outs for our dogs were perfect. Without a doubt, the best Airbnb we've stayed in. We will be back!

My stay at this location was exactly what I was looking for. I had been staying for ~2 weeks and I felt like I was right at home with everything I needed.
