Rustic and homely little cabin right by the river. Very simple standard (no bath/water toilet), only outdoor toilet and outdoor shower (only in summer) with cold water. Water jugs with drinking water and water for cleaning/cooking available. Here you wake up from river buzz and birdsong. The cabin has a garden, a fireplace and a path to the river with a swimming area during the summer. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a leash as the property is not fully fenced. Bed linen and towels are included. Wood for the wood-burning stove is available.

Experience lovely nature at cozy farmhouse! The cabin is located by itself on the edge of the forest overlooking the whole of Østre Gausdal. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

Det er i tillegg vedovn i stuen og ved finnes på gården. Soverommene ligger i 2 etg, en dobbeltseng og en enkeltseng på hvert rom. Eiendommen er ligger vestvendt til med gode solforhold 600 moh med god utsikt utover dalen og til Gausdal Nordfjell. Fordel med egen bil, da det er 3km til busstopp i Svingvoll

Driving distance from Oslo is 210 kilometers / 2h 25m / from the airport about 2 hours In winter, you can go straight out on ski slopes that are connected to an extensive trail network.

In winter time you have direct access to the cross country ski track directly from the porch. An excellent location for some moutain peace and quiet with beautiful hiking and cross-country conditions. Also includes a small sauna, cabin office possibilities, nice dinners and outside evening on the decking around the cabin. Plenty of parking space also.

Cabin for an active holiday in the mountains

At Fagerhøy you can have an active holiday in beautiful nature 999 meters above sea level. The cabin is located right by Peer Gyntvegen north of Lillehammer between Skeikampen, Kvitfjell and Gålå. There is a well-developed network of paths in the summer for walking and cycling and skiing in the winter. During the holiday periods, it is usually possible to rent canoes, bikes or skis at Fagerhøy, Gudbrandsdal camp school, which is located approx. 400 meters away from the cabin.
