Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gantt

We loved our stay! Ben gave clear instructions on how to find/access the property, was very responsive, and helpful. The house was spotless, comfortable, had everything you need, and the hot tub was a great perk in the cold winter. An added bonus: there is a waterfall to spot on your drive up to the house.

The views were beautiful! Pictures don’t do it justice! The location was remote and peaceful, exactly what my husband and I needed! Highly recommend if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of life.

This cabin was the perfect base camp for a week of biking, hiking, and trail running. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (but lots of options within a 20 minute drive when we didn't feel like cooking!). We enjoyed being able to bring our dog along with us, and he loved getting to sniff around in the woods by the house. We hope to come back!

It’s even better in person! I was specifically looking for a house for my waterfall-loving husband and his excited reaction when we saw the giant waterfall steps from the back door was everything. The house is beautiful and spacious and the deck, hot tub and fire pit that all let you stare at the waterfall are perfect. The house had everything we needed and it’s close enough to Sliding Rock (40 minutes) and Paradise Falls trails (7 minutes) that we had fun things to do nearby. We cooked meals at the house. Bring groceries with you when heading in! Nothing is nearby for purchase other than a general store (better for snacks). We absolutely loved our time and can’t believe a property like this exists.

Great cabin and host. A little tricky finding the driveway by the gps but she gave instructions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the near future

The views from both inside and outside are fantastic. We loved watching a storm roll in over the mountains from behind the glass walls! The outdoor areas maximize the view especially from the hot tub. We loved the privacy and seclusion. Easy drive to downtown Hendersonville. We would happily stay again!

The house is a delightful blend of 1930’s craftsman architecture with modern conveniences. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the setting is peaceful and relaxing. The best aspect of this rental might be the hosts who were friendly, responsive and very thoughtful. From the thoughtful breakfast snacks to the extensive toiletries, we were made to feel very welcomed and pampered guests. This has been one of our favorite Air B&B stays.

Great location near downtown Brevard and right on the greenway. Large backyard with a little creek.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my fiancés birthday in Saluda as well as staying at Karen and Katie’s place. It’s an absolute adorable house that was perfect for the two of us and our service dog. Location was peaceful and exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely go back!

What a view from the back porch! The cabin is very well equipped. The drive in can be a bit rough. But very worth it. The cabin was very comfortable for our family to stay in. The falls behind the cabin are worth the trek down the mountain.

We loved it! Charming, cozy and clean. Loved sitting on the porch, watching hummingbirds feed. The whole family enjoyed exploring the beautiful yard. Perfect place!

We arrived to Greenville for my son's wedding. I was looking for a place that would accommodate six adults. We hit a home run. The location was spot on having to step outside on North Main Street. Our rehearsal dinner was across the street at Sassafras Southern Bistro. The living room area/ Kitchenette open space construction was perfect for all of us. The location was great....good neighborhood close to Furman University. The Swamp Rabbit trail ran right behind the house. We liked that was the last house on a dead end so it was nice that there was only a neighbor on one side. The backyard was awesome, especially for the dogs. The house was quaint and cutely decorated, just like the description. I would definitely stay here again! But next time, we would definitely bring bikes so we could ride the trail!

I’m selfishly not wanting to write this great review because I will be sad if the place is booked when I go back to Tryon! The place was perfect for my pup and I while showing at TIEC. The hosts are lovely, and the place stocked with a coffee bar and water, and the community itself is beautiful. Quiet, peaceful, yet super convenient for restaurants and shopping. I will be back! Also, apologies. I stole your box of tissue under the bathroom sink because my allergies were killing me at the horse show: I meant to replace it with one I night but I forgot this morning. I apologize again and thank you!

We loved this home. Offered so much to do rain or shine. Kids went swimming, played ping pong, and we loved the pool table. We used the canoe to fish also. So much hiking, kayaking in river and biking. Went to Oscar blues also. We have family here which is great but your home made this visit so easy. Thank you

It was immediately apparent that Robert's place was one of the good ones! It was a charming historic bungalow furnished and outfitted with care and thoughtfulness. Handsome antique furniture served us well, classic lamps and artwork lent elegance, comfortable furniture arranged to allow for easy gatherings. The kitchen lacked for nothing and the large antique wood plank table accomdated our extended family. Bedrooms featured comfortable beds and crisp linens as well as blinds on windows that opened and provided delightful cross breezes. The bathrooms were spotlessly clean and showers had seemingly endless hot water. We appreciated the handy laundry room. A back deck and patio provided safe haven for our bicycles as well as a barbecue grill! Mostly we enjoyed the comfortable screened porch . We spent every evening here enjoying the sounds of happy children at the neighborhood swimming pool as well as a spring downpour. We hope to return someday for the next family reunion.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

We stayed at Lonnie’s place to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday. We are a family of 6, with teenagers of different ages. Lonnie’s place was clean, homey and felt like home. Great restaurants in the area - about 15 min drive in any direction. Place was a bit harder to find at night, but provided directions were perfect and we did not have any trouble at all. Grocery store is a short drive, made our life easier. The location is beautiful - the view of the lake is magical and surrounding area feels very safe. We used the house as a base for hiking trips -big variety of options 10 months or 40 min away. In 4 days we feel we just scratched the surface. Also close to kayaking, tubing and other water sports. Tv downstairs was easy to operate and wifi signal was great - I was able to log into zoom calls for work. Inside the house, the supplies in the kitchen are great: plenty of plates, glasses, cups and cutlery. Also many spices and condiments. Thank you - it was a great time!

We had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. Our host even stocked the fridge with breakfast foods for us!

This was a great house to stay at. Very comfortable and home like. Loved the view and the large deck. Had everything we needed including toys for kids. Good area, near lots of stuff to do including using the resort amenities, restaurants, waterfalls and shopping. Would stay again.

The location of this beautiful house is in a mountain nature preserve. Simply amazing. Like staying in a national park.

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!
