Holiday rentals with breakfast in Gangtok

Amazing host in Gangtok. The place is little away from the city, however you can easily get taxi from the road. They also have a travel desk person to arrange local tours and taxi. Comfortable stay and spacious rooms. Food is home made. friendly landlord who will also assist if you encounter with any issues during your stay.

It was a Memorable stay at kessang’s homestay…extremely peaceful & pristine environment, surrounded with forest, organic farms…home cooked meals made from local ingredients…he is a great chef, I enjoyed every meal he prepared…perfect place if you are also travelling with your pets….lots to do around, places to visit….overall had a wonderful stay here….will visit again…

Where do I start? Right from the time we booked a room with Yeshey to the time we checked out, we received nothing but love from Yeshey and her most wonderful husband, Shankar. She guided us to the best placito go to, after our plans of North Sikkim fell thru, suggested best places to eat, best places to shop(even accompanied us to the shop), provided us with the most amazing home cooked food(Yeshey we miss your cooking!!). Even went so far to provide less spicy meals for my young son. We werent treated as guests, we were treated as family. She helped us with arranging drivers for sight seeing (thank you Lhakpa ji) as well. It didn't feel like we were staying with new people, it felt like home. Highly highly recommend Yeshey's place when you visit Gangtok. Yeshey and Shankar - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our stay so wonderful. We love you and definitely will visit again. Truly you are both wonderful souls and we are so glad to have stayed at your place

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and I must say, it was a truly pleasant and memorable experience. The property offers a breathtaking view that made every moment feel special, and the interior was so cozy and inviting. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the highlights of our stay was the nearby restaurant, K Square Food. The food there is absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying if you're in the area. The property is about 30 minutes away from the main city, which gave us a peaceful, more relaxed environment, yet still close enough to explore. A huge thank you to our host, Mr. Chewang, for making this trip so unforgettable. He is an outstanding host, very kind and well-mannered, and really made us feel like part of his family. His warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay all the more special. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Nannu is a friendly host. It’s worthy to mention that she was very cooperative and supportive. We felt like home while staying with mouth watering food. The house is well decorated with local touch. The place is in bit inside, however it’s easy to access. MG market is very accessible.Overall, our stay was very peaceful, it’s a home away from home!

Mr Kanchon is very friendly & wouldn't let you feel like you are away from home.. They have own restaurant set up as well. Every Stuffs were very helpful.. I'll definitely recommend this one if you are at Gangtok

I recently stayed at Newa house and had a wonderful experience. Dhana Di was incredibly welcoming and ensured I felt right at home before we arrived at her place. The location of the homestay was perfect for me. It was in a quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. I loved the attention to detail, from the fresh flowers on the spacious balcony - where we friends could have an excellent time together to cleanliness in the bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, ensuring we had a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional cooperation and help from the host. We are grateful to the host for serving us hot, delicious, tasty food. The warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a home away from home.

My first visit to Sikkim was made memorable by Shivani and her parents. From the time of booking, until checkout, Shivani was extremely responsive. They are kind, generous, always helpful, and very accommodative, which made me feel at home. I got a room with balcony, which was comfortable for one person. The kitchen was well-equipped and bathroom was clean. Shivani also very helpfully shared Sharuk’s contact. He owns a taxi, lives close by and is very reliable - do consider taking his services if you need to get around Gangtok. Can’t end the review without mentioning a special mention to the best homemade Sikkimese meal, cooked and lovingly served by her parents!

If you're someone who loves solitude but yet homely and loved, you'll love Michelle’s place. Located in a lovely and quiet surrounding, it was such a great retreat for us (we are from Delhi). People are extremely sweet and courteous especially the caretaker Ranjeet and the housekeeper. Would love to book the space again when traveling to Gangtok. Would also love to recommend the space to all near and dear ones, for sure.

the stay was very peaceful amd comfortable, the location is just 10 min walking distance from mg marg. Ranjeet was a really helpful and nice host, helped us with everything and even checking in at late night. overall a really good experience.

Home away from home with an astounding view of the mountains!! We were in for a surprise when we reached Tashi homestay and saw the under construction elevation of the house…but all our concerns were washed away when we saw the well laid out, spacious and beautiful interiors. It was a perfect and cosy home with perfect hosts. Entire Tashi family was very courteous and always supportive of our needs. Each room was beautifully maintained with cosy beds and well maintained baths. Never for a moment we felt we were away from home. The view from the homestay is spectacular,.you can see the valley in front of you. The Tashi view point is also pretty close this place. The Tashi family treated us with excellent home food and we loved every bite!! The children liked the place soo much, that they wanted to stay there for ever :) Thanks Tashi for being a wonderful host and we will surely will love to stay with you again when we come to Gangtok next time!!

They were super cooperative and helpful, arranging bikes and cabs for us to explore the beautiful city. The food they served was absolutely delicious - it truly felt like home away from home! hospitality and warmth made our stay unforgettable.

We stayed at Kora Marchak for 2 days. A group of four friends. This was a very much awaited get away for us and Kora seemed perfect for us. The weather to stay to the staff, it was beyond expectations. The rooms were great and property was private and just what we needed.. Food was very tasty. Special mention to the staff, they were very very welcoming, humble and helpful. Anything we asked, first response was a YES. Jackson, Devika and Ravi ( i hope i remember the names correct) treated us with utmost care. We even cancelled our day-2 plan just to stay in peace at the property. Thankyou Jackson and team. Despite the short stay, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. The rooms provided were clean, as were the blankets, bedsheets, towels, and all other items in the room, which was also well-decorated. As for the home itself, it is approximately 60 years old and holds significant traditional value. It features a prayer room, kitchen, library, terrace, discussion room, and many more amenities that make it ideal for a longer stay. We had a wonderful breakfast in the dining area. Mr. Jigmey was a kind and hospitable person. He welcomed us with a traditional khata and he also prepared and served us his special tea made with authentic Sikkimese ingredients — lovely gestures that we truly appreciated. In summary, his place is highly recommended, especially for long-term visitors.

The place was clean and Ayush is very responsive. He is quick with his response and follow-up. He is a great host. On one of the days when his mother couldn't prepare dinner for us, he arranged it from one of the local vendors. We were very happy with his hospitality. However, I found the location slightly off the main market. Also, the bed sheets could be lighter shades and off-white colours (this is just a personal preference).
