Villa holiday rentals in Galena

Thank you Matthew for the great place for our filmmakers to stay that were attending the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival. They loved it!

Great place, would stay again for sure. The location is nice- quiet and private and about a 12-minute drive from downtown Galena. It was clean and cozy, the beds were comfy and host communication was timely and clear. Check out to do list was very reasonable and simple. There’s a working wood fireplace and plenty of wood for guest use which is such a nice bonus and walking trails are close and accessible. We didn’t have time to check out the clubhouse facilities but instructions and access seemed easy and straightforward.

This townhome was beautiful, peaceful and had a lot of amenities compared to others in Galena. I stayed at Dana's place with my 6 year old daughter and basset hound for our girls trip. My daughter loved running around the front and back lawn, going on walks and the pool which is in walking distance. The home is very welcoming and clean! The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has every tool you could need. My daughter loved sitting on the deck with me using the "fancy" plastic glasses for her juice! We will definitely be back!

Great people. We had a swift check-in and were welcomed by a beautiful space that provides absolute privacy. Could have been better if it was warm so you can enjoy the enormous space around the property. Can be suitable for retreats, intimate wedding venue.

The place was amazing in almost every way. The only one thing that was odd as it said it sleeps 4, but there was only one bed with sheets and blankets. On the couch bed, we had to contact housekeeping to get sheets and there were not any blankets for it. We did find extra pillows in the apartment though. Otherwise the place was wonderful, very cozy, clean, and comfortable. We loved it. It was a nice and quiet place to stay. The club amenities were awesome to have too.

We could not of been happier with the unit. Beautiful scenery and quiet. Everything inside was clean and well presented. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Had a great getaway with my family, visiting off season is a treat!

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked, and living room couches very comfortable. Overall very pleased with the accomodations.

Dana's place was amazing! Tucked inside the beautiful Galena Territory, this place had it all! Quiet and cozy, immaculately clean, a one minute walk to a semi-private outdoor pool that we used every day of our 7-day stay, except for the one day it rained, equipped with everything we needed and then some, 10 minutes from the Owner's Club, 15 minutes from beautiful downtown Galena, and places to hike galore, which we loved! We could not have enjoyed ourselves anymore than we did. Dana was such a great host, too! Her communication leading up to our stay, while we were there, and again as we concluding our stay was terrific! She provided so much helpful information on places to go, things to do, places to eat, etc. Both Dana and her lovely home were an absolute 10 out of 10! My wife and I certainly hope we are able to book this place with Dana again in the future. Do yourself a favor, and book it whenever you can!
