“A previous review says something to the effect of, "Ioanna's place is exactly what Airbnb should be." I agree completely. I stayed a few days with my wife and toddler. The apartment is conveniently located in charming Galaxidi. Ioanna lives below and rents out the top floor. She has done an absolutely beautiful job with the space. The little touches of hospitality--fresh local yogurt, a variety of fruit preserves, amazing olives--were greatly appreciated. The balcony is wonderful. Communication with the Ioanna was great and street parking was easy. I heartily recommend and would happily return.”

“We’ve spent a lovely time in Galaxidi in Giorgos’s house. Central location, quiet in night, but all bars and restaurants are closed by. Galaxidi itself is amazing place! We didn’t want to leave! Perfect spot to visit Delfi as well. Giorgos and his family are very friendly! Their apartment is clean, bright, we found everything we need there. Thank you very much!”

“My stay at Jo's place was okay. The location is great and her grandpa was extremely nice even though he didn't speak English. I had to wait 20 minutes after a 3 hour drive for him to meet me, and Jo didn't respond until after 15 minutes of me waiting so I was a little confused if someone would show up. But after he met me, parking was close enough and the place was cute. You are only a 3 minute walk to the port area. My major complaint about the apartment was bugs. Giant beetles, millipedes, spiders, and mosquitoes. Perhaps it is just the location, but the apartment door has a 1" gap so giant beetles just run right in. Also, there was a miscommunication between Jo and I on the Wifi speed. She mentioned it was 14 mbps download and 9.5 upload, but it turned out to be 12.4 download and 0.8 upload. I do a lot of Skype/Webex calling for work, and even though I had no issues hearing the others, they said my voice would speed up/slow down and I sounded like a robot. I think the area itself is too small to have any fast speeds. The small town is also very hard to drive in, plus Google maps sends you down all kinds of "main roads" that end up being too narrow for anything larger than a compact car. I think the apartment would be great for those who don't need Wifi, aren't afraid of bugs, and who are looking for a small town off the beaten path to make some day trips around the area.”
