Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Gabriola Island

The CQ was exactly what we wanted. Private cabin on a quaint farm. We had everything we needed and Henny knows exactly what she is doing! Great location 15 mins max to anything on the island. Absolutely stunning location - saw loads of wildlife from the terrace, and an amazing view over the water. Property was also very well supplied with a super modern kitchen and ample bed and bath space. Will be back!

Staying at Jason’s place was a pleasure. He was very responsive and flexible with check-in check out. Kudos to whoever designed and furnished the space. The design was super swanky and really helped us escape for our island visit. The bed and bedding was super comfortable. The shower was spacious with great dual showerheads. Best part is the location as it’s super walkable into town and we found a shortcut where we could take a short walk to the local brewery . Wonderful design great space.

We had a great stay! The sauna, cold plunge and hot tub were awesome. Lots of space to hang out, cook meals and play board games. An easy drive or 10 min walk to amenities- great place, I’d come back again!

This the the best property we have ever stayed at and we have been at some wonderful properties. Right on Nanaimo bay. Views were stupendous. Easy stairs down to the shore. Brian responded to inquiries almost as quickly as Radar O’Reilly on MASH. The home has all the little touches that testifies that wis wife is involved in the upkeep. Would recommend highly. Would stay there again. Didn’t want to leave.

My only comment is that is was very hard to find the place especially in the dark. Google maps took me to a neighbouring house and it was very confusing. That being said I didn’t fully ready the hosts instructions so she may have mentioned that! Wonderful place though, we would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous views, quiet and serene, a perfect home base to explore the whole island. The kitchen was great for cooking, and we enjoyed several meals on the deck, listening to the birds and taking in the views. Lisa was a great host, and even though her house was nearby, it felt very separate. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to return on future visits to the island!

Matt's place was great and just like the pictures. Probably the most comfortable bed ive slept on in a long time as well. Beautiful views and spacious. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks Matt.

This was our second year staying at Jonahs place. We had the best time and can't wait to come back next year!

A sharp modern glass tree house with a butterfly roof surrounded by trees - that makes for a comfortable stay & peaceful positive energy. We very much enjoyed the home and setting. Walls of glass floor to ceiling make it bright & a sense of light energy too. The landscaping is well done so that is nice on the eyes also. On our trip there happened to councide with very early morning & all day heavy machinery construction right next door, even on the Easter holiday. However that does not change my 5 star review. The place itself was excellent. The construction will be temporary + not always heavy machinery. And soon it will end. I just mention this so renters can get more certainty on what will be happening during the days they book. I highly recommend this rental it's a perfect place for 2 people and has a 2nd bed open to the main area that extra family could sleep in. We used that bed in the main room as a cozy place to read. Great master BR giant windows out to trees.

Jamie was fantastic, so kind and welcoming. The place is very beautiful with a view that we never tired of. The setting was perfect for us as we wanted peace, quiet, and relaxation. We felt so lucky to stay here in such a wonderful setting in a place with everything we needed to stay in, relax and recharge after a intense surf sesh in Tofino! There is no mobile phone service as the listing states but high speed internet met our needs just fine. We would love to stay again. Thank you to these two fantastic hosts and for the opportunity to stay here.

We rented Lily's house for our small wedding ceremony, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The views from the property are stunning, and the home itself was spacious and comfortable for our group of 12. Lily and Leo were incredibly responsive and helpful, answering all our questions both before and during our stay. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

The place is beautiful and quiet. The owner is friendly and helpful. We’d love to come back again if we have a chance. I left a handmade lotus gift for the house, the owners family and future tenants. Wish you happy everyday.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our group. The beds and mattresses were incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Overall, everything was great. There are just a couple of suggestions for improvement: the dishes weren’t as clean as expected, as the dishwasher doesn’t seem to work properly. It would also be great to add a fire pit with enough seating for everyone and a light near the hot tub to make it more usable at night.

Our stay at Ekta & Peter's place was absolutely wonderful! Before we even realized our ferry mishap would affect our plans, Ekta proactively called to offer adjusting our dates – such a thoughtful gesture that saved our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by Ekta, Peter, and their charming chickens who showed us around. The cabin is a perfect forest retreat – cozy, well-stocked, and filled with natural light through skylights and windows framing the trees. Just a few hundred metres away, Grassy Point Park offered beautiful ocean views and birdwatching. The private jacuzzi nestled among the trees was especially magical at night. Ekta's artistic touch shines throughout, from her beautiful pottery (which you actually use!) to the playful chicken-themed touches. Prepare to be charmed by more whimsical chicken decor than you ever thought was possible, plus real chickens leaping for berries outside the cabin! We can’t wait to be back!

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

We had a lovely time--the location was great and the stay was exactly as advertised. A comfortable home to come back to after a day of adventures on the island!

We had the pleasure of staying here and it was so worth it! We arrived at a squeaky clean cabin with amazing views. We had a great time paddle boarding, bbqing and relaxing in the hot tub. The previous guest broke the washer dryer so Ashley was kind enough to do our laundry for us. She's very responsive and very kind and we can't wait to come back and stay there again!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. All of the instructions were clear and well thought out, everything was as expected if not better, the place was spotlessly clean and everything was provided for. A fantastic cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting, with great hosts. The cabin has a stunning modern interior with unique and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The surrounding property and forest are welcoming and serene. The ocean view from both the cabin and hot tub is wonderful. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and effective communicators. Check in was simple and straightforward. I would highly recommend a stay at the cabin for a peaceful getaway.

Our stay at West Beach Resort was phenomenal. The host was exceptionally kind, friendly, and nice. Mostly everything you need is available onsite (coffee, food, fire wood). Some wood was included for our fire pit and we really enjoyed the peaceful setting with our beachfront cabin and private fire pit. We even made it into the hot tub for a bit and that was great too. Inside the cabin was thoughtfully appointed and spotlessly clean. Great stay. Won’t hesitate to return.

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Rhys and Joanne were perfect hosts- very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast which we loved and feel so happy we found the cabin and its perfect location! Thank you
