Cabin holiday rentals in Funny River

Gloria was amazing! I had a rented a cabin for the night for a surprise 16th bday for my daughter! I originally had a small cabin booked, but was upgraded, for free, to a huge, beautiful cabin. She allowed me to check in early in the morning, instead of at 4pm, so I could decorate! She also allowed us to extend check out time so we could enjoy the place as much as possible! They have a wellness center, with a huge sauna, hot tub and massage chairs! Also has a massive fire pit area, as well as a restaurant! I would recommend this place a million times over!

Our stay at Vivian's cabin in Ninilchik, Alaska was a dream come true. Situated perfectly for our fishing charter, the cabin boasted awe-inspiring views of cliffs, ocean, and mountains. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a home away from home. Vivian's hospitality was exceptional, and we were thrilled by the wildlife encounters, from bald eagles soaring above to moose wandering nearby. This experience was unforgettable, and we're already planning our return. Thank you, Vivian, for sharing your slice of Alaskan paradise with us!

Pictures don't do justice for sure. What a lovely little getaway. The hot tub was immaculate. which was really nice. The deck upstairs was perfect for stargazing. I felt right at home. I would absolutely rent again. My only little thing that was a little off was the no windows coverings in the sitting area. Other than that. it was amazing.

Quiet and easy place to stay. Had a lot of things to do but we were too busy fishing to do them.

The house was super clean, well-organized, and everything was labeled, so it was easy to find what we needed and know where to put things back. It had all the amenities you could want, including an amazing hot tub with an awesome view of the lake. The wraparound deck and the fire pit down by the lake were perfect for relaxing. Plus, the dock made it easy to fish and kayak – so many fun outdoor activities! The house was really spacious, and although there was only two of us and we kept to the main house, the other one was available. This place would be awesome for a family trip or a getaway with friends. We’re already thinking about coming back next year to tackle the Kenai River with our friends. The hosts were super friendly, responsive, and made us feel really welcome. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We stayed at this cozy cabin for 2 days and it was amazing! The cabin itself is a well maintained home that offers amazing views of the ocean, and authentic Alaskan relics. The porch is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and think about writing your next novel. Just as a heads up, the road and driveway is a little steep/small for a larger vehicle, but there are plenty of parking options available. The steps to the loft are also a little steep for someone that might have some mobility issues. I highly recommend making this place a special part of your Alaskan adventure!

Very quiet and secluded cabin in the woods. Perfect for the overnight fishing trip we went on. Host was very responsive and helpful with everything. Would stay again

Pat was a great host. although he had to leave out of town before we arrived he communicated when we had to ask questions. Cabin is perfect with great ammenities. Loved being able to have access to firewood and the view could never be beat. Would reccomend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Kids and I really enjoyed this cozy and well equipped cabin. The place is pristine clean while dog friendly. The view is dreamy; Hosts are super nice; Fresh eggs and fishing tips are absolutely bonus. Loved everything.

I was looking to stay in Ninilchik and this gem met all my needs and exceeded them. Beautiful location, clean and cozy cabin! And the communication was above expectations!

I am a touring comedian and it was so nice to just find a place with a hot tub to chill alone in the woods by a lake. The hosts were fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this little get away spot.

We were focusing on the fishing for this trip. 100% satisfied!! Josh and Dani Perticrew did not disappoint! Red Salmon and lots to ship home. We arrived and topped the hill to see a moose standing in the road right before turning into our cabin. Several moose were around the property and two twin babies and mom. We got lucky and had plenty of sunshine and no rain on our trip. The weather second mid July was in the high 60’s and high 40’s at night. We flew into Anchorage and drove to the cabin in Soldotna. The drive there was pleasant and beautiful. Soldotna has a beautiful river running through the town. Fishing opportunities all around you (Josh knows the best places) and we found them easily. We drove to Homer AK for a day. Beautiful coastal town and totally worth the trip! Best fresh fish and chips to eat!! Great ice cream!! We drove to Seward and Whittier. Both fascinating history and the nicest people everywhere we went. Back along the coast to Anchorage to fly home. ❤️❤️100

We really enjoyed our stay. Fishing close by was what we came for and that's what we got. The house was super comfortable to stay in. While we didn't see any moose we saw signs of them in the yard. Fun!

Beautiful views with a cute, clean cabin. Definitely recommend! We stayed at the cabin and took several day trips including Cooper Landing for a hike to Russian river falls, Homer and Seward. We also enjoyed our time in Soldotna and Kenai. Mark is very quick to respond to any questions and Trina was very sweet. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I love staying at the Birch Tree Cabins! Andy is always very helpful and responsive. This was our second stay at Birch Tree Cabins. The first time we stayed in the Moose Cabin and this year we tried the Wolf Den. Both cabins are wonderful and equipped with everything we needed: range, microwave, coffee maker, and hot water for those much needed hot showers after a rainy day! Thank you Andy for another great stay!

We loved this cabin! Peaceful and private, with everything we needed—comfy bed, nice bathroom, and a well-equipped space. Sandy was especially wonderful—super friendly and gave us great local fishing advice that really made our trip. Robert was also quick to respond and helpful. Perfect spot to relax and a great base for exploring the area!

Was such an amazing time staying at Dereks cabin. Property was so awesome, Derek was over the top accommodating, and the fishing was epic. The cabin was so comfortable and was a great place to call home for the week. Very clean, warm, and peaceful. Would HIGHLY recommend staying here, you will not regret it (especially if you want a guide that puts you on fish). Thanks again Derek.

Nice cabin. Was quite spacious. I was a bit worried beforehand that it would feel a bit cool because it looked quite dark in the photos. In real life it was also a bit dark due to the location between trees, but it didn't feel that way at all. It actually felt very warm and cozy.
