The Alaska Sea Bright Lodge is accessible only by sea or air. A 30 minute boat ride from the Homer Harbor will bring you to the Sea Bright dock at water's edge in China Poot Bay located in the midst of majestic Kachemak Bay Wilderness State Park, bordered on three sides by the ocean. Across the small bay 5,000 foot peaks jut up from the ocean floor adding a majestic feel to this home. This 500 acre estuary is home to seals, otters, sea birds, eagles,5 species of salmon, and countless others.

Sunshine Homestead

Feel the joy when you sleep under the stars on Sunshine Drive in Happy Valley! The yurt is 16' and 4-season insulated, complete with stove, microwave, running water, an outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill, and patio. This is a private yurt on a quiet road that welcomes well mannered dogs. There is a tiny, single person A-frame also available to rent nearby. Restroom is a lit outhouse with parking. The yurt in on Sunshine Homestead, just down the driveway, where I raise hens, and a large garden.
