Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Fresnaye

The perfect stay in Cape Town! The house is spacious, with a great blend of indoor and outdoor living areas. Stunning views of the city and an ideal location within walking distance to everything. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town!

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

This was our first trip to Cape Town but did have feedback from my daughter who is studying there. The Gardens neighborhood worked well because of its central location. Unfortunately the city is car dependent so plan on lots of Ubering - always a car within 2 minutes - even vans! The mall down the street was a blessing - pharmacy, 2 grocery stores and a bunch of other stuff. The home was so perfect for a group of 7 - probably the best was the large open living space that gave way to a work space at the dining room table, cooking space galore in the kitchen, comfy couches to watch the French Open from and then a napping window that is super cozy. There is a great outdoor table and rooftop deck but due to timing and some weather did not spend a lot of time there - but the invitation of both spaces quite charming. Would stay there without hesitation next trip if over 4 travelers!

Could not recommend Anton’s place more; one of our favourites we’ve ever stayed in. Fantastic location, amazing views, wonderful decor and amenities. To add to that Anton was an incredible host, check-in/out and communication was seamless.

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

A stunning central home in Seapoint. it was perfect for our family of 7. We had a copy stay and enjoyed every bit of the home when we were bit traveling around. Hosts were friendly, accommodating and engaging. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops and garage. safe to walk at night with care. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

A terrific place to stay in Camps Bay and all exactly as descibed. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars as well as bus pick-ups for tours etc. Uphill walking back but no problem if moderately able. Ubers easily available and not expensive for exploring near or far. No problems as a base if driving yourself. We were an adult party of 5 and really enjoyed our visit to Cape Town. Ingrid was easily reachable and responsive. Would highly recommend and thanks for a great stay!

Our host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Their hospitality was unmatched—thoughtful touches were everywhere, from a personalized welcome note to a curated list of local recommendations. The home itself is absolutely luxurious and immaculate. Everything looked brand new, and the space was spotless—you can tell cleanliness is a top priority here. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, with tasteful decor that balanced comfort and elegance. We especially loved the upgraded amenities—high-end kitchen appliances, a plush memory foam mattress. It’s clear that a lot of care and investment went into making this place exceptional.

This is a fantastic apartment in a prime location. While it's slightly set back from the road, it offers easy access to the main area. The two floors worked really well for us with the baby. We could let the baby sleep while still enjoying TV or getting other things done.

We stayed for a week in Nat’s Seapoint apartment and loved our stay. Nat was very communicative which made everything very easy and the apartment is a delight. We loved the location and enjoyed walking both to the V&A Waterfront and the other direction to Camps Bay from Seapoint - glorious sea walks in both directions. The flat had everything we needed and was so close to restaurants and local shops - would definitely stay again if back in Cape Town!

I spent three happy weeks at this beautiful Tamboerskloof apartment - by the time I left it was quite the wrench! In particular it's worth mentioning the completely charming neighbourhood and lovely street with the local Cape Town icon the Blue Café just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment itself is a stunner - that view feels like a gift every morning. That said, I loved the cool rear terrace overlooking Lion's Head which for me was just as wonderful. I sat out there in the mornings with my coffee and watched the neighbours pass by, beginning their day. The ideal spot to bed in and live like a local.

I never go to the same Airbnb as I want to try out a new place each time but goodness me, this place? I will return to it over and over again. The deco, the space, the view, the comfort, the safety, the list is endless! A real home away from home. So serene and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and take in all the beauty of Cape Town without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Great place and would always recommend or return back to that beautiful apartment.

My friend and I spent a week here and we absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment was in the perfect location – walking distance to all the best restaurants and a great base for exploring Sea Point and other areas in Cape Town. The space itself was super clean, comfortable, homey and had everything we needed for a relaxed and easy stay. What really made the experience stand out was the host – incredibly helpful, always quick to respond, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend staying here more - would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!

The house is located on a quiet and peaceful street in Green Point and it is close to all the main attractions in Cape Town. It is very cozy, clean and there are all the essential appliances for a medium/long stay. We had a pleasant time !!! Only advice: don't leave food crumbs around because tiny ants might appear in the house however there is spray and they go away immediately

We loved staying at this place. Lots of space, the darts and pool table were great extras. Communication was wonderful, quick to respond or give lots of activity ideas.

Camp’s Bay getaway like no other! Great team running the show, super responsive and great communication. The place is out of a dream. Phenomenal location and feng shui. Highly recommend for a medium size group or family to feel safe at night. Recommend going in the South African summer for all the Americans though.

We’ve just spent 4 weeks (4 adults 1 child and a baby) at the villa and it was the most amazing stay! The villa is in a perfect location and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Matthew the house manager was just the best! So helpful and kept the villa spotless throughout our stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

The place is a work of art inside and outside. The view of Table mountain is breathtaking, both day and night. Tino is very kind, responsive and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about the stay.

I enjoyed my stay in this lovely home, great views, located in a calm neighborhood that is an easy walk to great restaurants on Kloof Street. I also walked to Lion’s Head from here. Julia was immediately responsive to any questions.
