Guesthouse holiday rentals in French Broad River

This is a quaint ADU located very close to downtown. The location is peaceful with great Mountain views. The check in process was easy and convenient. Our host Kim was always responsive, accommodating, and proactive. The bedroom is located up some steep stairs but was not an issue for us but something to consider. I would consider staying again when I want a peaceful setting but close to downtown.

Such a beautiful, peaceful oasis! We loved the beauty, the goats, the comfy bed, the garden, seeing a bear, the plush towels and the proximity to town. Jana was very responsive and helpful. Definitely a 10/10 and we would stay here again!

Had a nice stay at Rebby’s place. The surrounding area was beautiful and loved the sound of the stream behind the house. I appreciated the private space and it was clean and organized. I would recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful space

Jenny accepted by booking on VERY short notice, and at a busy time for her, and I really appreciated her graciousness for the spontaneous trip. Her home is completely lovely, and it feels serene despite the store across the street; I think her lovely trees and flowers help with that a lot. I heard street noise briefly, but that ended early, and it was a very quiet night, with a wonderful bed. And the porch! Oh, my. It's on the back of the house and feels like it's miles from city busyness. Yet, the things we planned to do in Asheville were only 15-20 minutes away. And the muffins are DELICIOUS. Jenny responded quickly to both my request to book and to other comments from me. Her home is spotless and welcoming, filled with lovely treasures and good books. I hope to return soon!

It’s such a calm place. I enjoyed sitting on the couch each morning, drinking coffee and watching the horses across the way. The coffee the hosts provided was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts were welcoming, their old dog was very sweet, and the few glimpses and sounds of an active and loving family made me nostalgic for old times, when my children were young.

I had a great stay here! The place had everything that I needed. There was great wifi access and I was able to work here. The area was beautiful and I woke up to birds every morning. James was friendly and an all around great host. I’d highly recommend to anyone coming to the Asheville area. I hope to visit again!

If I could live here for the rest of my life, I would. Judy and Steve are wonderful hosts who happen to be living on a slice of perfection. The space is large, squeaky clean, quiet, and I hadn’t slept as well in years. Perfectly appointed. Parking is right outside in their large driveway with a dedicated spot. I chose to walk in the evenings and saw horses, sheep, goats, and a very friendly donkey next door. The best rental space I have ever stayed in which has been numerous. Thank you for sharing, Judy and Steve.

The home was easy to find and check in and out were simple, with clear and easy instructions. The host was quick to respond when we had questions and was friendly and welcoming. The surrounding area is peaceful, and we enjoyed having our breakfast on the rocking chair porch, while we listened to the birds. Some of our favorite places - Mills River Brewing, Bold Rock Cidery and Hustle Wing Co. - are all conveniently located nearby. The home was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with all needed supplies. We will definitely stay here again when we return to western NC!

Great place to stay, centrally located to get out and explore the area.

A wonderful place to slip off to, to retreat from the rush, enjoy some quiet solitude while watching from the private deck either the sunrise or the sunset light with a steaming cup of coffee…exactly what we needed. Jenna was a delight to communicate with, making our stay wonderfully memorable with no awkward surprises. Thank you, Jenna!

This is a great airbnb for exploring Landrum, the foothills, and surrounding areas. It's not far from the freeway, but feels like it is out in the country. Phyllis is very friendly and extremely helpful. She has extra touches such as some continental breakfast items, real cream for the coffee, etc. The airbnb is spotless. Lots of natural light, an amazing shower, and a very comfortable bed. Great stay!

If you pick this place to stay, you will be enchanted with the beautiful surroundings and peaceful area full of wildlife. The cottage is spacious and relaxing. The bed is comfortable, the shower has plenty of pressure and hot water and a luxurious large bathtub with bubble bath foam provided. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and their dog Sadie Mae is friendly and adorable. The kitchen is updated and has a large refrigerator, a huge sink and a dishwasher. There was also a nice desk area where I could work on my computer, and the decor in the cottage is exactly what is in the pictures; an eclectic mix of camera equipment, stereo and artwork. Just beautiful. I especially liked waking up in the morning to birds and squirrels at the bird feeder and even saw a deer. The grocery store and gas station are just a few minutes away, along with a choice of restaurants, which was very convenient. There is paved parking right in front of the cottage which made it easy to unload suitcases. 100%!

My partner had such a great time staying here during our weekend trip to Brevard. The guest house was really cozy and we really enjoyed that it was just a 5 minute walk from downtown! Very lovely. Sasha was a great host & we’d love to stay here again in the future. 10/10

We will definately be back to the Woodlen! Extremely convenient to WCU (<20 mins), clean and well kept, hot tub was a nice feature. The mattress was wonderful! Roku TV worked well and had no wifi problems. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and everything was accurately described. The "Woodlen" sign at the end of the driveway was very helpful as the host warned us that the GPS would want us to turn into the drive before...just look for the Woodlen sign and you are at the right place! Jana was very responsive and very easy to communicate with. 5 stars all the way around!

Great. Super communicative and the neighborhood can’t be beat between downtown and west Asheville. It’s also roomier than the picture and on the first floor with no one above you. Nice.

Daniel's place was an oasis in middle of a busy area. The convince factor is excellent. Plenty of restaurants, close to airport & interstate, close to national forest and a Walmart nearby for any needs. Given that description, one would think this place is in busy suburbia....and it is, but you would never know it. Beautiful wooded and gated neighborhood with a pond, cute homes, safe and walkable. Really can't beat this location. Would not hesitate to book in future.

Laura is an exceptional host—gracious, attentive, and truly thoughtful in every detail. She has created a peaceful and welcoming retreat that immediately feels like home. Her dog, Winston, is the sweetest and feels like the gentle keeper of the land—he added a special touch to our stay. I would absolutely love to bring my family back here again someday. The home was much larger than I anticipated and is very private for a guest house. The sound of the creek was amazing and so was the rain on the roof. We made use of the kitchen which was well equipped. The property hiking trail is steep, but enjoyable. There are a some trees down due to Helene, but it was pretty nonetheless. The pigs and chickens were a delight and a good highlight to the stay. Over all very peaceful and relaxing. Also: The host was very helpful when there was a road closure, he directed us to an alternative route to town.

For two people this is a perfect place. Ideally situated just a few blocks from downtown, and super neat and clean. The deck and firepit were great additions which we thoroughly enjoyed almost every evening. This is one of the most well stocked Air BnBs we have stayed in; on top of that, everything in the casita was of quality- sheets, pots and pans, towels, TVs etc. If we come back to Hendersonville to hike; we will definitely choose Sam's place again. I went to Asheville last minute and was looking for a spot close to downtown. This place!!! While being close to downtown, it felt more like an English cottage row! Every morning walk, I felt like Snow White. The suite was perfect for one or two. The beautiful waterfall as you come in was spectacular. My morning walks were a daydream. Wild turkeys, beautiful birds, and one day I had a Mama bear and her cubs come visit. This stay was so good, I requested one more day because I didn’t want it to end. I would stay here 1,000 times again. The most perfect time in Asheville.

My second stay did not disappoint! The hosts are gracious and responsive. It’s a cozy, clean, private setting with lots of greenery all around. It’s peaceful yet located close to all the surrounding sights. Five stars x 1000!

It was a great respite for us! Loved the pup area, coffee/tea area, peaceful & quiet, games, etc. Easy access to all areas we wanted to explore. Abundance of natural light, cozy spots, necessities, comfy beds...
