Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Fremont County

Heidi’s Hideaway was such a TREAT!! I was on a traveling on motorcycle trip alongside with my father and uncle who had NEVER experienced an AirB&B stay before. This lovely home was a PERFECT experience all around whether you have stayed in an Airbnb before or not! The house is absolutely lovely and feels very much like you’re at home yourself. It is an older house that has been VERY well taken care of and remodeled. Both my father & uncle couldn’t stop complimenting on the little craftsmanship details throughout the house. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and Heidi herself was SO helpful, friendly, and accommodating!! Next trip we come through CAÑON CITY, CO we will 100% book again! Thanks, Heidi! =)

Stayed here with a group of 7, plenty of room to relax and feel at home. We enjoyed the view out in the deck every morning and night before and after our excursions. Would highly recommend.

This is a SWEET place. An older house nicely upgraded. It's very well equipped with everything you might need, even a bread and bicycles in the garage for guests to use. It's farmhouse style with lots of decorations and inspirational quotes, including some religious in nature - depending on your beliefs, those might or might not appeal. Billie, the host, was over-the-top friendly and helpful and responded to questions immediately.

We enjoyed The Lazy Rays immensely! The place was very clean and well stocked for cooking and large families. When there was a mishap, the host responded immediately and took care of the problem. The front porch and back patio had plenty of seating and comfortable accommodations. The grill worked great and was clean and easy to use. We look forward to staying at The Lazy Rays again!

What an awesome place to stay! Beautiful home, huge deck and pool, with a hot tub! Well appointed kitchen with great appliances. Beds are so comfy, linens and towels are very nice. This was our second stay and I know we'll be back soon!

Great location for Cañon City, Florence or the drive to Colorado Springs! Lovely home with nice amenities.

This home is definitely one of the cleanest and well-appointed rentals my family has ever stayed in. There was a slight maintenance hiccup at check in, but Beth was proactive, super responsive as we worked through the issue, and did everything in her power to make it right even though her family was also out of town. The hiccup was taken care of and we ended up tacking on an additional night to our stay. The property has beautiful views (they’re especially great from the hottub). We were able to see bighorn sheep ewes and lambs right across the river. If you’re a stargazer this place is for you; I even got a few pictures of the Milky Way! We would definitely stay here again - felt like home for the week!

Beautiful place tucked up and back aways off the main road. The road to the cabin has an excellent view of snow capped mountains. People on the road waved as you passed each other, it was so nice.

Our little cabin was private and right on the river. Having running water inside was a step up from glamping! Very comfortable beds made our family feel at home.

Absolutely great view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. We woke up the first morning to a few deer in the front. Sauna worked great, a real bonus. We had a great time.

This vintage resort- the bubblegum cottage- was so cute! Lots of cute niche vintage things around the property and the views were incredible. Super close to Royal gorge and a few restaurants that were fun nearby. Bathrooms/showers not in the cottage but very close (as was explained in the listing.) had a little fridge/ microwave and a standing a/c that cooled the place efficiently and quickly! we would absolutely come back again! Eagle Vista is an absolute gem. The pictures provided with the listing do their best to try and capture the grandeur of the setting, but it's even better than advertised. John is a great host and makes sure that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, and the woodstove keeps the place nice and cozy. We'll certainly be back if we're in the area again.

Jeff is a very gracious and responsive host. We found this place last year and decided to come back this year, for Deb and I, this is the place where we really decided that we were going to be forever. We will be back again next year!!! When we arrived, we noticed that the shower was really leaking bad, quite a flow, not just a drip. we contacted Jeff, and he had a plumber out there the next day. Mind you, this place is in the middle of no where, but he was able to have the shower fixed in no time. Other than the Shower, the Cabin was in perfect shape, everything else was working fine. It is a great place to unplug and relax and not worry about anything else, there is really no Cell reception, which for us was a plus. We are looking forward to spending more time up here again next year!!! I wish I could give more than 5 Stars...
