Perfect place to spend the week with the family. Lots to do within a short drive. Felt like home and had everything we needed and more! Great that there was a washer and dryer.

Even the greeting by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying with friends.

Accommodation was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The furnishings were great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We were on the road a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The surroundings and and scenery are truly spectacular. The house was beyond expectations. Very spacious and comfortable. I will stay here again when I return.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

The two nights following our holiday in Italy brought us an incredible amount of peace. An absolutely relaxed, helpful and super sweet host who was able to take care of a lot of our worries and we were able to enjoy ourselves, even the dog relaxed, as never before in a foreign environment :) clearly - we will come back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the short but relaxing break!

Heidi gave us clear instructions on how to find the apartment and parking. We received a great intro to the area, with recommendations of restaurants, bakery and supermarket, along with the different ways to get into Salzburg. The apartment itself has a great layout, comfy beds, good shower, and a nice view from the kitchen window. Great location with good road and rail connections, making it a great base to visit the Salzburg area, salt mines, various lakes, and mountains for hiking. Would definitely recommend and stay again if in the area. Thanks Heidi !

Absolute recommendation! The area of Maria's accommodation is like paradise. The view, the tranquility, simply fabulous. The accommodation is really nice and there was nothing we lacked. Maria's hospitality is particularly noteworthy. She made us feel at home. She always gave personal tips on hikes and local events. There is much more to be said here, but unfortunately the characters are not enough. The fresh hay milk and eggs directly from our own cow and chickens were also special. It was really wonderful! Thank you! ☺️

Ideal accommodation for a long weekend to explore the region. Has everything you need. The apartment was very clean and tidy.

Quiet, spacious and peaceful in a lovely little town surround by nature and great hikes but weather was pouring rain our two days here so no hiking for us. It is located a 35-40 minute drive from Salzburg so good for a day trip. Would stay here again.

Johanna and Flo are super sweet people but the sweetest is Rosalie, she is so cute !!!!! We were very kindly received, everything is SUPER PROPER and NEAT!!!! Nicely decorated, the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking yourself. We enjoyed the super cozy and fun terrace with beautiful garden and beautiful view of the mountains. Even though we sometimes had a little rain, we could always sit dry on the terrace. You have private parking at the apartment. Across the street, there is a cozy Konditorei with delicious pastries. And a very tasty Pizzeria just around the corner, Jolly Pizzeria with very tasty Pizza. There is also a small supermarket nearby. The area was very quiet and you are right on the Konigssee. You can take beautiful walks and excursions in the area. Everything was PERFECT, we enjoyed our holiday SUPER and felt AT HOME !!!! We highly recommend the apartment and would definitely come back. We had a lovely few days at Kristin and Franz’s place. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. As clearly outlined in the description, the cooking facilities are reminiscent of camping, but were fine for our needs, and there are supermarkets and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The house feels like a home, with books, games and DVDs - including, of course, The Sound of Music! The location is lovely, an easy half-hour walk into Salzburg centre along the river or accessible by public transport. The Salzburg Guest Mobility Pass was also great as it means that public transport in the area is free of charge. Staying in a neighbourhood with traditional housing styles, lovely green spaces and quiet roads also made a pleasant change from staying in the city centre. Franz was a great host, meeting us on arrival, and keeping in touch throughout our stay, updating us with helpful information. Salzburg itself is a wonderful place to visit!

The stay was completely pleasant! The warm welcome with a personal door sign was a great surprise and immediately made us feel good. Thanks to the clear instructions by email, the door was easy to open, and the check-in went completely smoothly. The accommodation was clean, cozy and well equipped just as described (in detail: fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, kettle, towels large/small, hair dryer, dispenser for shower gel & shampoo, WiFi, TV, magazines, books, div. Excursion flyer). We would like to highlight the friendly and helpful communication with the host, which was always quick and uncomplicated. We were able to stay here for 5 days, in a one-room apartment - completely sufficient for two. We felt very comfortable and would come back any time. Thank you for the loving hospitality! The apartment has everything you need. Everything is as good as new! The location is great and it is very quiet. Everyone in the house was very friendly and helpful. For us, the apartment was perfect! Fresh eggs were available to buy. If you need it dark, you should take sleep goggles with you. The bathroom is clean but a little small. The balcony is narrow, but this is normal for the type of building. However, if you want to do everything on foot, this is the wrong place. A car is necessary here. Thank you for 5 great nights.

The stay at Valentin's was great. The apartment matched the pictures and it had everything you could want. Valentin was a very nice host and greeted us personally upon arrival. We would come back anytime:)

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

Everything was perfect! Even the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on with a good mattress. Kitchen super equipped. The terrace is very cozy. Elisabeth is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We would have liked to have spent more time here.

Tanja is an amazing host, she provided clear instructions to the apartment and check-in. When we requested she provided excellent recommendations for scenic car drives. She was very responsive. The apartment was spacious, neat and clean. Very good views in a quiet neighborhood. We truly enjoyed our stay.

I am an extremely clean person in everyday life. I quickly feel uncomfortable if things are not tidy or are messy. Therefore, at this point, a very big compliment to the person who tidied up the accommodation in advance! Excellent work! There was enough space for the German shepherd who travelled with us. In addition, due to the rural location, the apartment is in a "walking-friendly" area. The affected residents of the village are very friendly (to strangers). You are greeted by everyone and help is offered if you - as we apparently do 😁 - stand around a bit lost in the landscape. We were happy to be guests in this house and will also be happy to come back if we need accommodation in this area again.

When we arrived at the place, we were impressed by the beautiful surrounding landscape. The check-in process is well described and was conquered on the first try. The apartment breathed a piece of home on us and was a great starting point for all-day hiking trips. The apartment has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and tops of the Alps, the sunrise here is captivating. We didn't want to leave. Thank you 😉👍

One of the best stays we’ve ever had! Christina and Matthias did everything they could to make us feel welcome, and that paid off. Their hospitality, the accomodation, the surrounding environment. Everything is lovely. Their daughter even made us some amazing courgette fudge muffins. Salzburg is also very easy to reach with a 15-minute bus ride that stops at the end of the street. If we ever come back to visit Salzburg, we’ll definitely come here again!

Highly recommend if you want safety and security, underground parking available as we rented a car, private spot comes with the apartment so no need to worry about parking at anytime , quiet area at night, 10 minutes to the centre driving, we didn't use public transport but 200 metres away. Balcony was superb, loads of seating, bbq available. Opens off the living area Living area spacious, loads of seating, fully equipped kitchen, oven, large fridge, table and chairs, bathroom has bath and shower combined, plenty of towels and showering materials. Bedroom comfortable with plenty of storage, black out blinds and TV. Amenities in the basement for washing, drying clothes, bins for rubbish and recycling and access to private car park. Overall a beautiful apartment.
