Holiday rentals with breakfast in Fredericton

This is a beautiful place. The house is comfortable, and has many huge windows to let in natural light, and views of the forest and lake. It needs a bit of maintenance, since the owners haven’t been able to get there recently due to the general COVID travel restrictions in place. However, it is still a wonderful place to stay. The setting, on the shore of a very private lake (only two other houses), is so relaxing. My children loved playing in the lake, and my husband enjoyed having tea and reading a magazine on the dock, in the mornings. If the kids had been bigger, we would have used the paddle board and kayak. There were lots of birds that I hadn’t seen before, and we awakened to loon calls every morning. The kitchen and dining room were quite convenient and allowed me to keep an eye on the kids while preparing food and cleaning up. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. My children also really enjoyed the loft bedroom, with its books and toys, and big windows. There was lots to entertain them, indoors and out. If you do have small children, note that the spiral staircase has wide spaces in the railing, so a barrier is a good idea to keep littles off it unless they are being closely supervised. If you are working while there, also be aware that the cellular data goes back and forth between LTE and 3G, so bandwidth isn’t always great. It was fine for me on my smartphone, just slow for my husband’s videoconferences. Deborah was very responsive and helpful, and answered my messages very quickly.

You will not regret booking this air bnb!!! My fiancé and I had a wonderful time here. We stayed for one night and we are from Fredericton, but wanted a night away to relax. We really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, as well as the cozy fireplace and living room. Everything was perfect from the moment we checked in, until we checked out. Amy took care of us with the sweetest little touches like a welcome charcuterie board and beautiful fresh red roses. The kitchen, bedroom, living room, and bathroom are all beautifully decorated with Amy’s unique style, she is so talented at what she does. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We will be back in the future for sure. Thank you Amy, you are the best!

So very accommodating, a lovely room as always, peaceful surroundings and a very yummy breakfast in the morning on their sunny front breakfast room. I love staying here! Our stay here was just great—Hao was very welcoming. We loved the sound of someone playing piano in the parlour as we arrived—it felt like entering someone’s gracious home. Our room was impeccably clean, with thoughtful design touches and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast pancakes and eggs were top-notch. We would definitely stay here again. Vasyl is a very good host. The BnB was extremely clean and comfortable and perfect stop on our way to PEI.. We had a spectacular view of the river from our bedroom. We enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Big Axe B&B. Our hosts were amazing. The property is cozy, with everything we needed for an excellent ski vacation. Only 23 minutes to Crabbe Mountain. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a quiet retreat, with a cozy feel. Breakfast was delicious.

This is the second time we stay at Mike’s Airbnb. Exactly as described. I highly recommend this place. Perfect in every way. Close to the highway, so perfect for quick overnight stay.

Her comfortable cottage is done up with style (see the pictures), and with beautiful outdoors and lakefront dock to enjoy the serene views and sunsets. Her place is super clean and the bedding/towels, etc are top notch. She makes you feel at home with a warm welcome and offer to use the shared spaces. And if you are so inclined, it’s a pleasure to engage in conversation with her. I would love to stay at her place again if the opportunity arises. Highly recommended.
