House holiday rentals in Franklin County

The condo was clean and modern. There was everything you could imagine you would need. Every switch is labeled. The towels were the best part. They were of high quality. And plenty of them. The HVAC was great. The condo felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. The only issue was communication about the code. They do not communicate over Airbnb. They will give this only to your email, which I did not know. You need to insure you have all of the info you need at least a day or two before you go.

We had a wonderful time at Kristie’s. Comfortable and beautiful property. The pool and game rooms were so much fun!

What a great place in a location out of the mayhem. Jessica was a fantastic host.

We enjoyed a long weekend with 7 extended family members and 2 dogs. The place was beautiful and had something for everyone. Beautiful landscaping, perfect view of the lake, water activities. We never even got to the ping pong table or Cornhole because we were so busy on the water. Bedroom set-up was great, comfortable, if low, beds. The porch is a great place to spend a whole afternoon, and gated, so the dogs could be off leash, also the second level of the dock. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit, and the young adults enjoyed the hot tub. Close (by lake/mountain standards) to grocery stores and restaurants, many on the lake. We would visit again.

Stayed for a long weekend with family and we really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we walked in, we were pleased with how spotless the home was. It was as pristine as a model home, yet was cozy and thoughtfully decorated to make us feel at home. The home was also convenient to nearby stores and restaurants. We appreciated the board games, kayaks, paddle boards, and the well stocked kitchen with plenty cookware, appliances, and seasonings. The home is absolutely beautiful and even better than described in my opinion.

This house felt just like home! It had everything you would need in the kitchen. The garage had ping pong, darts and extra outside chairs . The front and back porch had plenty of patio furniture. The bedrooms were so cozy and spacious. The upstairs area was a perfect place for the kids to hang out . And the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of towels ! I even took advantage of the CrossFit gym that was 5 minutes down the road ! And just beyond that was a grocery store and coffee shop! We really enjoyed our stay!

I must say this was my first experience with ever staying in a Airbnb and wanted a change from a hotel and very glad we decided to give this a try. Tammy was an absolutely awesome host very responsive and a very nice lady. The description matches everything. Very beautiful property and very clean.

We stayed here to celebrate my sister and brother's graduation! It was the perfect place to get together with family. The space was extremely clean! The kitchen had everything you needed from dishes to utensils to equipment. Sarah was so helpful and responsive - she was an excellent host. We wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely worth it and will come back.

My brothers and I celebrated our folks 80th birthdays and the accommodations were perfect for the occasion. Although the sixty five steps to the shore was prohibitive for them, the close Marina was adequate for boat ride pickup/drop-off’s. The double throughput driveways and the off road parking was convenient. The paddle boards and kayaks was a nice surprise. The place was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, rooms were spacious and location was relatively private and quiet. Over-all, everyone loved it and we’ll likely be back for another family getaway!

This home was fantastic for our family. We had a beautiful setting and a great home that was well stocked with everything that we could need. There were plenty of life jackets in all sizes and lots of water play accessories to include a floating island that got a lot of use. Our family (three generations) really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! Cody was a great host! Quick to respond to our emails. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. What a great vacation!

Great place to rent and family friendly. Dan was a great host and was very responsive to messages. Look forward to renting this again.

Kelsey was probably one of my favorite hosts ever, easy to communicate with. I booked on short notice she was patient, helpful compassionate and understanding she responded quickly. I never had to wait for any length of time for her to respond. We rented a different place first, they weren’t very helpful at all or even willing to help…I was majorly disappointed & stressed Kelsey was exactly what I needed, she was helpful and accommodating. We traveled from Idaho, to attend my mother’s funeral. Kelsey was very friendly, sympathetic, understanding she was so kind and gracious to us. The absolute perfect host. A perfect home allowing us focus time to face our loss, grief & family bonding. Rather than stress over our accommodations. The house was PERFECT clean, quiet so well stocked I didn’t have to worry about “anything” or if I had forgot something all my focus was on my mom’s siblings, my kids, my husband…. I was able to focus on my family. Thank you

Absolutely loved everything about our stay. The house was comfortable and cozy. The view of the water was incredible. It was also very private. Brad reached out several times to see if we needed anything. This is a great place to stay.

This was the most well equipped home I have ever stayed in, from everything you will need in the kitchen to outside fun like kayaks, corn hole boards, and a paddle boat. Even the small stuff we sometimes forget like shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush was provided. The entire home inside and out was well thought about!

What a beautiful place Ben has! We absolutely loved our stay there! There was everything we could possibly need! Enjoyed the mornings on the deck especially! And when there was one little thing missing, Ben went out of his way to remedy that! Thank you it was a beautiful way to spend our daughter’s graduation from college!

Perfect lake location near venues and service providers. Comfortable home like place to stay offering many recreational activities such as a fire pit area and boat dock.

Cheryl went above and beyond to welcome us. The house is spacious and the pool table was a bit hit! We have relatives in the area so I’ll definitely consider staying there again.

We stayed here during the week and had the cove to ourselves! We tied up our boat at their dock and it made it easy all week with our kids to play in the water both at the dock and taking the boat out on the lake. Our kids loved seeing the deer roaming around too :) the large covered deck at the house was the perfect spot to relax when we needed a break.

The location of Jims place was absolutely stunning and so very peaceful. Located close to Smith Mountain Lake among some beautiful rural rolling hills and farmland and easy to drive to the state park or over to places to eat in nearby Moneta. The rooms we stayed in are located on top of Jim’s residence with a private entrance up a set of stairs with a private baloney and we had all the amenities you’d need for a lovely stay. We brought our dog with us and Jim made sure there was a gate on the balcony so our pup would stay safe in our area. Jim does have several dogs around his property but they were all very friendly and well behaved and we had no problems at all with them. They accepted our dog well when we took him out for potty breaks. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful sunset walk down to the private pond on his property. The landscape all around is absolutely breathtaking.

Beautiful place with wonderful views of the countryside! We loved sitting on the covered porch listening to the sound of the babbling brook. House was clean and comfortable!

What a gem we found! We absolutely love the area, the home and the experience! This was our first ever Airbnb 10 states from home! I was very nervous and had my breath held wondering if I did everything right. We loved that this house had everything we needed and plenty of space after driving 14+ hours is a tightly packed car! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
