Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Fort Payne

We stayed here for my son’s graduation and it was perfect! We were able to bring our dogs and the home was perfect for hosting family and relaxing with a cup of coffee and taking in the beautiful Mountain view. The home has everything you could possibly ask for- the kitchen is fully stocked with literally everything you could want and more. We will book this home again for our next son’s graduation! Perfect stay!

This was our second stay at this residence. Laura was responsive, communicative and flexible - especially when it came to our arrival and departure times. Location to Berry College is convenient (maybe a 10 minute drive) and the house meets all of my families needs. Already booked for two other stays this fall. Highly recommend.

Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed she had actually removed the listing availability for the night I wanted to come, so I messaged her asking if it would be OK if I booked and she responded immediately. despite her having a funeral that day, which was why she removed the availability, she worked with my schedule and had the house cleaned and ready for me by 7 PM and gave me a late check out of 5 PM two days later which was very preferred for me and very much appreciated. The house was clean and peaceful. Location was very nice but I can only imagine how beautiful it is when all the foliage is back to life.

This is the second year in a row that Sandra has hosted us for a local event. It’s located right on the lake and just far enough into the country to feel like you’re on vacation! She was just as helpful this time around and we were so glad she had us back. She accommodated a few extra people we had with us and it worked great! We will most definitely reach out again next year in hopes that her home is available for us!

Came to town for a graduation, we are a family of 5. We each had enough room to have our own space. The beds were so very comfy, best sleep we’ve had in a while! Peaceful mountain vibe but not far from town. It was what we were looking for! This is actually the 1st time I’ve booked an air bnb, I was very impressed with how responsive and friendly the host was. Would book again if we need to come back to this town!

We had a a great stay at Kara’s place. We loved having a dining table and living room seating that comfortably accommodated our family. The kitchen was very well stocked which was helpful when preparing meals. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit; the stars were amazing!

Dave was an incredible host and his place was amazing! He provided so many extras that made the stay even better—firewood, charcoal, kayaks, life vests, paddle boats, and pool toys. I was genuinely impressed by how much was available to enjoy. Dave was also very responsive and made a point to introduce himself when we arrived, which made the experience feel even more personal. He even helped us get set up with a pontoon boat rental! The only small suggestion I have is to consider covering the firewood—after it rained, it was a bit tough to get a fire going. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from reality. We’ll definitely be back!

The house had plenty of space for everyone and had tons of stuff to do. We used the hot tub, pool, pickle ball court, ping pong and poker table. We used the grill and ate on the balcony a number of times. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. Had issues with connecting a portable camera with existing wifi but reached out to host and quick response for alternative wifi resolved the issue. Main floor beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay; would come back again.

I was only going to be in town for a quick trip, and Jaims place was actually cheaper than a decent hotel where I was staying. It was so unique and different which I loved. It genuinely felt like I was staying a grandmas lake house. My friends and I had the best time and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The communication was great. We messaged Jaims when a dog showed up out of nowhere and she was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 no notes! Will definitely come back again.

Kylene was very responsive and helpful!!! We had a very relaxing week and were perfectly located for what we wanted to do, which was hike, relax and see Chattanooga some. We were minutes from Cloudland canyon, lookout mountain/Ruby falls and Chattanooga! As a pilots daughter I LOVED being at the little airport and watching the gliders and meeting the amazing people in the area! The river with the trail was perfect for evening walks! Thank you for a great week Kylene, we would love to visit again!

Cindy’s place was very clean and made us feel right at home. Clean atmosphere with everything we needed. We did manage to get in the pool on the one day it didn’t rain and it was very peaceful. If we get the chance to come back to Rome, we would love to stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Everything from the front porch view the cozy beds was perfect. Hopefully in the spring we will be able to come back and stay a long weekend and enjoy the property. They are fantastic with communicating. Somehow, I did not receive the email with gate / door instructions but reached out to Rohogo and they responded immediately, and this was after hours. This was defiantly a 10/10 for us!!

Very nice place, had everything we needed

Christines place was a great place to stay. It was very clean and accomadating with everything you could need for your stay. We felt right at home. Christine was great with communicating. She got right back to us when we had questions. We really loved being able to walk the property and fish in the ponds. Wildlife was everywhere. We saw plenty of deer, rabbits and the blue heron. Love that the back was fenced in for our doggie.

My family loved staying on this farm. We wish we could have spent more time there and would love to return sometime. My kids loved the alpacas, goats, pups and exploring the farm. We bought some goods which were delicious! What a dream it must be to enjoy this beautiful farm every day.

This has easily been my favorite Airbnb stay to date! The home was thoughtfully stocked with everything a guest could possibly need—and more. From extra fishing poles and tackle for a day on the water, to a fully equipped kitchen with a wide variety of cooking essentials, every detail felt carefully considered. The space was spotless, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. You can tell the hosts put a lot of heart into creating a comfortable and memorable experience. Whether you're relaxing indoors, cooking a meal, or heading out for some hiking, everything you could think of is right at your fingertips. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-appointed, relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The space was absolutely spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated—everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We have stayed in quite a few AirBnBs and this one is in our top 3 without a doubt! It was super clean. This place has all the little things you can think of (cooking oil, tin foil, baby high chair, etc.). The hosts left us snacks tailored for us and gave us a small gift as a keepsake of our stay in Mentone, AL. If you are wondering if it is worth the stay, I can 100% tell you it is. Eva should put on a Master Class of how to be an AirBnB host!!! Can't say enough good things about this stay!!!

What can I say? This Beautiful Place is MAGICAL! Jody was there for us with a late check in. She was So Warm & Welcoming. She had a place for us to park a Very big Pickup Truck & 12 ft. Enclosed Trailer and our Pups Loved the safe courtyard out back. Every detail of this Place was beautifully made with Love & Carefully thought out for comfort in mind. Everything from The Fresh Cave Springs Water to the yummy snacks! The Queen bed & pillows were Very Comfortable insuring a Great Nights Sleep! Amazing water pressure & and instant hot water was an Amazing Plus. If you are looking for R&R or if you have a busy schedule like we had, this place is very Accommodating! Jody goes out of her way to make your stay Perfect! Thank You so much Jody and Family. I can’t wait to get moved there and come back to hang and do a workshop or just get to know my new Friend Better!

My three sons and I had a great weekend despite a lot of rain. Tommy & Kelly were such great hosts that they invited us over to their (surprisingly spacious) crawlspace when the tornado sirens went off in the middle of the night! Thankfully, the storms passed quickly and uneventfully. The campsite was very tidy and the safari tent saved us when the rain was really coming down. Our dog and very adventurous 5-yr old boy lived their best lives, exploring the woods and water the whole time. Just a heads up for those with little kids : the creek access directly out from the campsite is a bit steeper than it appeared to us in the pictures; maybe 4-5 ft down to the water at normal levels. The access in front of the hosts' house, right next door, is much easier and the water is shallower there as well, and the hosts encouraged us to access the creek from there. We got to see nearby DeSoto Falls at near-flood stage, which was quite a sight!

Very nice older fella, had a carepackage for us in the fridge and everything. My only suggestion. The place says it sleep 4. It does but barely. Thats on me though for improper planning. Otherwise a great little bnb with a great host and plenty to enjoy. 5 stars
