Cabin holiday rentals in Fort Bragg

Rio Nido was great getaway for couple of days located in the heart of Russian River Valley. Hosts were superb and proactive. We enjoyed the room, the Rio Nido Lodge as well as the shared hot tub. It felt like private hot tub as there was nobody except us. Their cedar wood sauna was the best. We also went to see Korbel Winery right next to Rio Nido. It was peaceful and relaxing experience. Thank you Cherrie and Theo for hosting us.

My family had a great stay at the Secret Garden. Kathleen was communicative from before the trip began and easily accommodated a late check-in. The house was charming with visual interest everywhere. Our kids really loved the fun paintings and decor. The kitchen was suitable for making a few meals and reheating food. The only quirk with the house is that you have to go through one bedroom and the bathroom in order to get to the second bedroom. (Not a problem for us.) The hot tub was a real highlight. It was spacious, clean, and it afforded us the rare opportunity to stare up at the stars through the redwoods while soaking in hot water. What's not to like? The house itself is situated about five minutes outside of Fort Bragg off a country road. The combination of seclusion and proximity to town, beaches, and sand dunes was incredible. We would stay at the Secret Garden again.

Such a beautiful and magical location. We felt so cosy and comfortable – the bedding was lovely, and the room warmed up quickly, which made it extra snug. The shower was great – powerful and refreshing – and we were given plenty of towels too, which is always appreciated. It was such a peaceful experience waking up surrounded by trees. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating, which made our stay even more special.

This updated house was not only beautiful but cozy and comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with walkability to some cafes and restaurants. Plenty of storage for your things in the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to make a meal. We had a great stay!

The place was perfect for me. Quiet and tranquil. Very rustic but had everything I needed and was exactly as advertised.

Beautiful house in a gorgeous location. Mid century modern, so cozy, feels like you stepped back in time. Beautifully decorated and very clean. My husband and I had a great weekend celebrating his birthday. It was a perfect relaxing getaway. The creek water was so clear and the view was beautiful while relaxing on the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub too, very relaxing. House is well stocked with the basic things you need. Very nice big shower with very hot water. The Zen garden is so beautiful too and all the huge trees everywhere was so mesmerizing.

Exceeded my expectations...perfect cozy private getaway...was visited by tuxedo kitty..loved the animals...will visit again soon.

This place was great! Perfect for a nice, quiet, romantic getaway. Super close to downtown Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Great space inside for a small cabin. The balcony was perfect for a night under the stars. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely book again in the future!

I had a great stay at this little wine country cabin! It was a peaceful retreat, with a nice view overlooking a vineyard. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. Really close to tiny downtown Geyserville (which has some excellent restaurants and also the cafe Fermata is great for breakfast--they even have a wine counter in the back!) and Healdsburg is only 10 minutes away. Also super appreciated the bottle of bubbly Jill left me because I told her it was my birthday--thanks again, Jill!

One of my favorite stays. Serene surroundings. The trees are amazing. There is a hiking trail right behind the cabin. You can see the ocean in the distance from the deck. Peaceful, comfortable, private. The swimming pool is very warm and a nice addition to the experience. I enjoyed the sauna as well. Reception is very spotty, saving directions and check in information was super helpful.

Our stay at Heartwood was more than romantic. We are definitely thinking of planning a wedding here. Thank you for making our stay so amazing Khamoor!

What a cute little cabin in the redwoods. There’s a nice path down to the river. And a wonderful cat welcomes you and provides lots of loves. Be aware that there are no doors on the bedrooms, but that was OK.

Our stay at Andiron was unbelievably magical! My only wish is that we had discovered this gem sooner. Madeline was such a warm and welcoming host, and the place was not only impeccably maintained but also absolutely adorable. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Madeline!

Such a cool spot! Quaint cottage in a great location - perfect for an excellent “glamping” adventure. Just the right rustic touch, and it really felt like a secluded spot in the woods. Our dog loved exploring the surrounds woods. We’ll be back!

Adele’s place was exactly as described. The bed was super comfy and the house was impeccably clean. It’s worth mentioning that there’s not much of a place to lounge either in or outside of the house—it was a good place to land for a weekend of exploring Mendocino, very close to the town of Laytonville. Adele was very responsive and helpful!

The cabin was wonderful, very cute and cozy in a beautiful location. Just a couple minutes from where you park the car, but feels like you’re fully in nature, in a forest, far from civilization. Really adorable cozy place and Rosey was always very responsive, very friendly and very accommodating! Will definitely be booking this place again for another weekend getaway!

We had a great time staying at this listing in Gualala! Off Hwy 1, yet close to shops and a few restaurants in this quaint town. Walking around the trees and being able to walk to the coast was perfect for out 2 day getaway! The cabin was cozy and comfortable, kitchen was stacked with everything we needed to cook during our stay. Would love to visit again sometime!

Another great stay at this resort in our cabin that feels like home! We really like the cabin feel when we stay here and lord of adventuring to do around the area. Will definitely be coming back with my family

Heather was an awesome host and her place was exactly as described. It is a big property where you can unplug and experience nature. She showed us some cool local spots to see an Elk herd and a river pool where we could cool off on a hot day. We BBQ'd outside every night and the cabin stays cool if you open the windows at night and close them early in the morning. Heather also went above and beyond to help us when our dog got sick. She knows her stuff! We were able to get there easily with a two-wheel drive midsize SUV in July so don't let the road scare you. My recommendation for future residents is to download the surrounding area of the lake on Gmaps so that it works offline before you arrive so that you can still enter directions and travel to different spots around the lake.

This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our little dog. Elizabeth had everything well set up with clear instructions. We really liked that it was a bit up the hill from Mendocino in the trees with a great big lawn. It was very quiet and peaceful and just 10 mins from Mendocino town. Our only critique is that it's a bit dark inside and starting to get a little run down around the top of the walls. The kitchen works really well with most of the basic stuff you need, but don't come with fancy gourmet cooking plans! But there's enough to cook simple meals and reheat and serve our lentil stew that we brought from home. All in all a great place to stay!

Jon's place was beautiful! Exactly as described. Super spacious and relaxing, quiet and rural yet a close drive to town, the separation of the bedroom and living room/kitchen was lovely for privacy and would be great if you needed to do any remote working on vacation. We loved hiking up to the swimming pond and taking a dip. All around fantastic!
