Cabin holiday rentals in Forksville

The place is right on a heavily used road. When you are out back you cannot hear the traffic but when you are in the living room you can hear a lot of trucks go by. We got use to it after being there for a day or two but just to let people know. Other wise the hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. We had a little bit of snow so that was pretty too. Was a very homey place and would definitely stay again. We love places where our dogs are welcomed and they enjoyed themselves as well.

We absolutely loved staying here, overall it was a very peaceful and stress-free weekend. my favorite things about the place were the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor area. the kitchen has plenty of space to cook and mingle, the basement has multiple activities in it, and the outdoor area also has a few activities but you also will see lots of deer and the kitties from the neighboring homes, very cute. the only downsides i can think of are the master bathroom tub is kind of hard to figure out but I have no doubts they would help you figure it out if you needed i just didn't reach out because it was very late at night. cameras outside work and so do the motion sensor lights by the hot tub which made us feel safe. over all a really great experience for my / our first Airbnb experience.

We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful and quiet. loved the fireplace and hot tub! Host checked in with us after arrival. Loved the location and may come back in the fall.

We loved this cozy and welcoming home. It had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. While we had an issue with one of the amenities, Candace was quick with her responses and rectified it. We appreciated her flexibility and we had a great time. We would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful girl’s weekend at Shelly’s listing! It was cozy and inviting, and we all felt very relaxed and welcome. The pictures did not do this cabin justice! The cabin was beautiful and decorated for the holidays which is always so special! We had to book this listing last minute after we found out hours before check-in of another listing that the host double-booked us. Shelly was very quick to respond when I reached out last minute and saved the day. I’d love to go back with my family and spend the holidays here!

This secluded cabin was so serene and peaceful! we stopped through last minute on our trip to Cleveland. the pictures don't do it justice. the private suspension bridge was so cool and the creek was relaxing and fun to fish! such a unique and romantic spot. thoughtful touches like the fresh baked cookies and wine were a special treat. would definitely stay again! thank you!

Mike’s home was absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend and I spent Easter weekend surrounded by beautiful trees, a flowing creek, and the tranquil sound of birds. We couldn’t get over how beautiful the property was. Inside the cabin was just as amazing. It was completely spotless. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. All the appliances were updated and easy to use. The hot tub outside was a wonderful perk! We ended our day there after a long hike and it was perfect and relaxing. Mike was a fantastic host and was quick to reply to any of the questions that we had. He provided wonderful suggestions for hiking and breweries in the area. We had a small issue with the hot tub that he was able to walk us through with ease. He was fantastic the entire time and we are grateful to have been able to stay there. We hope to be back in the future! :)

Beautiful home and property! Everything looks new and was clean. The decor was lovely and perfect for a cabin. Plenty of cookware and supplies for cooking. The game room and hot tub were really nice features and kept us entertained during a rainy weekend. There is access to the stream and trails but we didn’t have much luck catching fish. I was a bit disappointed that the dartboard wasn’t working properly but everything else worked well. They even had a cornhole setup. One layout downfall was the kids bunk bed room is next to the game room so we weren’t able to use it after the kids were sleeping. Just something to keep in mind with young kids. They didn’t have regular bed pillows, just the ones with shams that come with the bedding which was odd. We had a wonderful weekend overall and I would definitely recommend staying here. Penny was great to work with and always got back to us quickly.

Our stay at Jan’s place was phenomenal! Being that our family resides in the city, this was the PERFECT place for us to get away and have some peace and tranquility away from the chaotic day to day. The scenery was beautiful and amazing to take in—being that you are on top of the mountain, you get the best views. The cabin was extremely cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Most importantly, Jan was very friendly and responsive and answered any questions or concerns efficiently. She also ensured that we had an easy check in and made sure everything was smooth sailing. My family and I made great memories and will definitely be coming back to stay at her wonderful cabin!

Sugar Run Cabin was the perfect place for a quick getaway - it had all the amenities of home. Robert was a super attentive host and my companion was very familiar with the area so we never got lost. We had the perfect weather for the hike to Angel Falls and other sights along the way. We definitely plan on using this cabin again!

This place is AMAZING! so well stocked we hardly had to bring anything. Patricia thought of everything. Peaceful quite and relaxing as we spent a beautiful winter storm in the cabin with our dog. Fire outside in the snow, listening to her LP's and the TV system...all just perfect. Will stay again!

The cabin was easy to find and was very well maintained, inside and out. The location was fairly secluded, but still close to town and other attractions. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind!

Great cabin in a great location! Had a great kitchen area which was great for preparing meals after a long day on Penns Creek! We were very comfortable and secluded.

Great cabin nestled in the mountainous woods at the top of a hill. Nice winter views of the mountains. Lots of beds in the upstairs loft, comfortable bedding, and a well stocked kitchen! We really enjoyed the place. There is not heat/air conditioning in the 2 downstairs bedrooms, so we had to sleep with bedroom doors open to capture heat from the living area, but it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit when we were there, so that might only be a problem during extreme temperatures. Don't let that scare you away though, everything else about the place was terrifiic!

We loved our stay at Chris and Rachel's Beechwood cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for - cozy and relaxing while being close to amazing state parks and trails; only 30 mins to Ricketts Glen and 10 mins to Worlds End State Park. Also Dutchman Falls is only 5 minutes away, and it's also beautiful. It was so nice to come back to this place and soak in the hot tub and the cozy fireplace. It even snowed while we were there which made it all the more cozy. They were such friendly, responsive and helpful hosts too. We highly recommend staying at Chris and Rachel's place if you're planning to visit Ricketts Glen and Worlds End State Park.

If I could give a 10 star I would. We spent 10 days at Wanda’s cabin and it was perfect. The house was extremely clean and the location and views were breathtaking. We felt right at home, we didn’t want to leave. This was by far our favorite vacation spot and we can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Tim & Wanda for making our vacation memorable and thank you for opening your home to us.

This cabin was beautiful and welcoming. Kim was extremely proactive in communication, and provided a FABULOUS packet with detailed instructions on how to get to the cabin. Everything was exact as described and SUPER clean. No cell service which was perfect for us to use plug and enjoy a wintery cabin adventure. Corning Glass Museum, and many outdoor hikes and activity within a 1hr drive. Absolutely would recommend 100%!

This is the perfect little cabin in the woods! It was so peaceful and quiet. Everything about this place was just perfect. From location, to cleanliness, to communication with the host...we could not have found a better place to stay for the weekend. I cannot wait to come back and just spend a whole weekend sitting on the porch relaxing!

This was my first time staying in an Air BNB. The host had everything there that was needed. It felt comforting to know that I could just message them and they would respond right away. Everything was clean and welcoming. The bed was super comfy and the shower water was hot. It was awesome having dark roast coffee in the AM too. 5/5 stars & would recommend.

The cabin was truly a great find! Very clean, inviting, and great scenery around. Felt right at home! Ashley was very happy to answer any questions we had, super friendly. We had such a great time! Definitely recommend :)

Brian’s cabin was very nice and in a great location. It fit, myself and my family very comfortably with lots of room and space to accommodate everybody. We love the outdoor fire pit and the front porch on a rainy day! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate to fish as much as we would like to, but it gave us an opportunity to bond within the cabin and make memories that will last a lifetime. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes fishing or just wants to get away for a weekend with their family. Brian was very responsive and was an amazing host. Hopefully in the future, we will be able to stay there again.

I had an amazing stay at Asael’s cabine. My friends and I stayed there for 2 nights and we felt at home. It was a great opportunity for us to bond, relax, cook, play games and go on a few hikes in nature. The fire place outside was really great and they had many games available for us to play. It felt like a little retreat getaway in nature and I would love to come back if I’m in the area again as it was very peaceful and exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend this place and Asael was an amazing host and very responsive! Thank you so much!
