Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Forcalquier

The gîte is beautifully located and offers fantastic views. For us, the location was perfect, with a private room for everyone. What was nice so that some could prepare for a next gliding day or could do some work. Anything you need is available with a fully furnished kitchen. The garden with the many seats is lovely, you feel "on the top of the world". The welcome was warm and the roaming cat was very cozy. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to use the pool, very unfortunate. We had a great week, and it is subject to repetition.

Edwina’s farmhouse in the French countryside was truly magical a very special place in the heart of the Luberon region. The farmhouse has fantastic views and everything you need for a quiet peaceful relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

The dovecote is full of charm! It is conveniently located, at the foot of the mountain biking and trail trails but also to visit the surroundings including Sisteron and its citadel. The hosts are very responsive, kind and accommodating.

We had a beautiful stay at Christian and Anne’s place. We travelled with two couples, a toddler and a baby and the space was great for us. Ansouis is a quiet village with a great bakery and restaurant but within close driving distance of other villages to explore too! The pool was a great addition and we enjoyed dining in the outdoor space. Christian and Anne were really responsive with all communications and super flexible with check in and out! Thanks for sharing your place with us, we would love to return one day!

We just stayed a week with Lucas and Elaine. Everything went really well, from the warm welcome to the departure. Lucas and Elaine are the most friendly hosts and during our stay, we were able to chat and get to know each other. They were discreet, but we can only share time with them, so much, the place is enchanting and the daily exchanges brought a very friendly touch to our stay. Lucas and Elaine did everything to make our stay go well. The accommodation, freshly renovated with great taste, a very well-equipped kitchen, a well-ventilated bathroom as well as quality bedding, with very wide beds. I can only recommend this place, very quiet, with views of the lavender fields, the sunset on Mont Ventoux. Not to mention the beauty of the landscapes, the market in Riez, all the charm of Provence and charming hosts.

We loved Marie's place. The pool area was lovely, it's a short drive to the town (or a walk if you like hills!) and the house and gardens are stunning. We had young children with us who loved it too - plenty to explore and the pool has a cover for safety. Kitchen is well-equipped and all the bedrooms are a good size. Highly recommend this place!

Loved our stay: The cottage to start: impeccable cleanliness and nothing lacks the smooth running of a holiday with 2 children aged 4 and 6. Hosts care about the well-being of tenants. The environment is perfect: garden large enough, all surrounded by patures, horses and walking paths. And more generally: the area is superb and there are many sites to discover. (the activity booklet offered at the cottage is very well documented) Wishlist. We'll be back again.

The accommodation exudes a beautiful energy, and calls to stroll around classics of literature under the gaze of Brassens, Brel, Coluche, Gainsbourg.... Flavie, our host is lovely. We loved this place, located on the 3rd floor without an elevator but an essential asset, being in the city center. I highly recommend this listing.

Fanny was the best host I have ever had on an Airbnb (and it was a lot and great). It makes you feel at home and proven your privacy. The house is very sweet with a very likeable terrace. So is the village, everyone welcomes themselves on the street and you feel like you're in a movie. Fanny gave us great tips about the area and even accompanied me on a hike. I stayed with her after the 4 days, I felt like I had a vacation with a very good friend. Regardless of my personal impression, Fanny's house is perfectly laid out for an idyllic vacation (indulging in lavender fields, beautiful nature, lake, canion, sports activities...), is comfortable and well equipped.

We didn't see Annick much, who apologised, but we were superbly welcomed by her family. The accommodation corresponded in all respects to the listing: although the cottage may seem rustic, it is very well equipped. We were able to cook without any difficulty and everything had been thought of for young children. Moreover, our 2-year-old daughter was overwhelmed by the books left at her disposal, the green setting and the donkeys and chickens that she loved to observe. The setting is incredible and from Barjols, it is easy to radiate between the Verdon and Sainte-Baume. We had a lovely stay

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. Everything was very clean and communication went smoothly.

we loved our stay at corinne’s. it had so many thoughtful touches: snacks and drinks for arrival, chocolates by the bed, lavender on our pillows, fresh homemade jam. the space itself is beautiful, quiet and clean, and the village is peaceful and picturesque. this is more like an upscale b&b than your usual soulless airbnb vibe: with a friendly host who will greet you, give you local recommendations and make sure to say goodbye to you before you leave.

Aiguines is a pretty village perched above the lake, beautiful viewpoint, many restaurants, only problem is one restaurant owner plays the music very loud until about midnight almost every night. Jean Marc is a charming host, very responsive and with good advice. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful studio in a lovely little village. Helena was very kind and gave us some fantastic nearby recommendations. A swim in the nearby river is a must!

We had a wonderful 11 days at this house. It looks exactly like the pictures, has everything you need, especially if you travel with kids. The trampoline and the children’s books and some toys in the house were a big plus. Communication was incredibly smooth, Gary and the team would reply right away to our messages. They were very flexible in terms of check in and even let us check out at 4pm since we had a late flight. It rained the whole time we were there and we still found it conveniently located just 20 min from Aix-en-Provence which made our stay super enjoyable. Eguilles is very small but charming. Would strongly recommend staying here, it was a wonderful experience!

Even though it was not easy to find the place Julie helped us very well ! High reactivity and such a kind person ! The landscape is very nice ! I highly recommend this house to relax in a very pleasant setting. The house is perfectly equipped. The exteriors are tastefully designed with respect for nature. Jean Patrice and Sandra are caring hosts.

Stay with friends in a green setting with absolute calm, no houses on the horizon, ideal for recharging your batteries with family or friends. The house is great and very well-equipped, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen and veranda are perfect. There are many nooks and crannies on this huge property that will allow you to share good times (petanque, swimming pool, campfire, etc.) Thank you to Eric and Michèle for your special touches during our stay and for your flexibility with our arrival time, we would recommend it without hesitation.

Caroline’s villa was perfect for our stay. It felt very rural, peaceful and private, yet situated in walking distance to the small town of Cadenet and centrally based to visit all the villages and towns in the Luberon. It was very hot for our stay in June, so we spent a lot of time in the lovely pool. Caroline was a perfect host, and wanted to make sure our stay went well, and was very quick to respond if we had a question or issue. We would have liked to stay longer!

Very good place to stay. The house is big and has everything you need. It is located in a very calm area. Possible to walk around, close to beautiful places in the region. I recommend!

We had a perfect and wonderful stay at Danielle‘s villa! The house and surroundings are so beautiful and designed with a great eye for design and art. We loved staying in and around the house so much that we ended up spending most days on the beautiful terrasse and in the pool. The house is also superbly clean and well taken care of. There’s multiple smaller and bigger supermarkets and boulangeries close by (few minutes by car) and of course many, many great restaurants in the area. It‘s perfect and we‘ll definitely be back :)
