From the terrace you can admire the sea sparkling in the distance and the wooden sauna in the courtyard cabin provides good steam. The place is ideal for families as well as big groups. Dogs also enjoy themselves. The island offers experiences with its cafes and stunning beach cliffs. Teijon National Park and Mathildedalen are only 20 minutes away by car. Good fishing waters.

If you want to stay in a quiet place on the shore of a pristine wilderness lake on the edge of a nature reserve... this place is for you. A compact beach cabin with space for 1-2 people, a cooking area on the terrace with a fridge, a counter and hotplates. Running cold water. Wood-fired sauna where you can take a sauna and wash (camping shower). There is a lean-to and a campfire area on the shore. A rowboat is at your disposal. Composting dry toilet. Enjoy your time on the terraces and the cosy Sauna, or take a dip in the sea. 3 separate bedrooms (2 in the main building and 1 in the saunacabin) With 2 beds in each and also 2 bedsofas, the place offer space for a larger group. The sauna cabins livingroom/kitchen also doubles a the fourth bedroom as it has a dounble bedsofa. The shore is deep so you can also easily access the cottage by boat.

In the forests surrounding the cottage, you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries, and the scenic Lake Gölen is a kilometer away. The cottage is located near Billnäs Ruukki, and Fiskars Ruukkikylä with its restaurants and boutiques is also within cycling distance. The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

Saunamäki Hilda is a light-filled 2-bedroom stay set along the sandy shore of Särkisalo. Newly completed in 2023, it offers an open-plan living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, and two bathrooms. The covered terrace overlooks the Gulf of Finland and opens directly onto the beach. Guests can spend time in the cave sauna, play on the sports courts, or explore the nature trails that wind through the area.
