Located in the Historic Fondren District. My place is in a quiet neighborhood, just blocks from fabulous restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, shopping, music venues, and grocery stores. I had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was very clean, simple, and comfortable. There is something to be said when someone remodels a older home but keeps the true bones of the original structure, I enjoyed and appreciated the older feel of the apartment. Yes, its not an apartment in Malibu but it was a place I would stay again. It doesn't have central air however the window AC unit worked just as well, there are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room, and I was very comfortable. The location was PERFECT, its directly across from a town center, great food, great Coffee, Great music and great people.

The Downing Loft At Belhaven

Newly-renovated/restored unit. Everything is clean. Furniture is brand new & comfortable. Gated lot is well-lit. If you want to try the eateries in the town center, staying here is the perfect location. Building access instructions were easy to follow (tip: when leaving the gated lot, the gate sensor "eye" that your vehicle will trigger to open the gate is actually on the left "lane" side). Hosts are responsive. Would stay again.

The Tree House short term living

This was our second stay at the Tree House, and once again, it was outstanding! Just like our first visit, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We did encounter a minor issue with the internet, but our host was incredibly responsive and resolved it quickly. The neighborhood is perfect for walking our dog, and we loved having a great coffee shop right next door. After long days of visiting customers in Mississippi and Louisiana, it was wonderful to return to a place that truly felt like home. We highly recommend this stay and look forward to coming back again!
