Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Florence County

Absolutely loved our stay! The Airbnb was amazing clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and everything was exactly as described (if not better!). We had such a great experience that we’re already planning our return trip. Highly recommend!

Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

Wonderful as always

Kelley’s place is stunning. Our morning sunrises and view of the near by lake were outstanding. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen has everything you need (different coffee options were great). We were provided with a list of restaurants prior to coming and a welcome guide. There is a welcome guide with instructions and descriptions to everything and very thorough on expectations of guest and host in the house. It’s very peaceful and welcoming. Rental was exactly as described and pictured. Wonderful host, house, and location. Very family friendly with games and place settings up to 8 people. We would highly recommend for couples or family retreat.

This is our second stay at the Fox Den and it was truly even better than the first! Great hosts, beautiful property and the view of the lake is just incredible. It’s a very long drive for us but the minute we arrived I remembered why it was so worth it! We also rented a boat and caught a ton of fish including Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, two good sized Pike and a few pan fish, great few days of fishing! Fox Den is a special place with great hosts and we would give it 10 stars ⭐️ if we could.

Randy’s place is easily a five at that price with certain caveats. Those being this, be prepared for no wi-fi and not much in the way of TV. The dvd player did not work. They looked at it and apologized, but that doesn’t fill the time for movie buff kids. Furthermore iron river lacks for stores that sell those things, and well lacks overall. That’s not Randy’s fault obviously, but Iron River isn’t much to get excited about. Ski brule is awesome and this was a great place to stay for that if paying a lot of fro ski brule lodging (which isn’t so awesome) overall great place. Just keep those things in mind. From what I can tell their Airbnb is more for the outdoor (snowmobile/atv) crowd.

The host had so many little touches that made the stay extra special. This was the most organized Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Had everything one might need. Highlight of the stay was the paddle boat and kayaks on the lake and easy access to the lake. Loved the location. Clean comfortable, would definitely stay here again the next time we visit this area.

Unfortunately weather wasn't the greatest and we didn't get enjoy the lake like we hoped for but that didn't take away the fact it was a Beautiful home, views and peacefulness it offered. it was like home away from home. We still enjoyed our time there!

Check in was easy and everything went smoothly. We were only there for the night, but was comfortable and clean.

Rich and Kitty have a wonderful place on Anvil Lake. It’s quiet, peaceful and beautiful. A great place to get away and you’re only 15 minutes away from downtown Eagle River.

I have stayed at Sharon's place multiple times now. It is extremely cozy. Sharon is a gracious host; very accommodating.

Cute apartment right off the hwy 141-8. Easy parking and access. Next to a small store but quiet in the evenings. Clean and cozy.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

We wanted a pet friendly place for our ski weekend. It was accessible to Ski Brule in about 10 minutes. We ate at Alice's Restaurant for supper and Main Street Cafe. Both good a reasonably priced. Would stay again.

Was a wonderful stay in a peaceful plot with deer that came to greet us! Communication was prompt even with me scrambling last minute to confirm location! David also recommended a few spots to go kayaking- worked out perfect! Would definitely recommend this location- had everything we would need to enjoy Iron Mountain and the UP! Thank you again!

My wife and I came here for a peaceful weekend away, and that is exactly what we found at this beautiful cabin! The cabin was well equipped, layed out nicely, and the view out to the lake was absolutely stunning! Ed was quick to respond to any questions and everything went as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking!

Always a good time. Coming up for a whole week next year. Want to really highlight the volunteers. I’d stay at that place every year. It was a beautiful spot and perfect for what I needed. Location was ideal., directly across the lake from the friend we were visiting. The setting picture postcard perfect. We’ll likely be back next year.

Absolutely amazing place and location. David was amazing to work with, helped guide us to best trails and access along with recommendations on food. David was responsive and wonderful to work with. We had a wonderful time off grid. Beautiful surroundings. Being from the south, We even got to enjoy snow! Cabin was perfect. Donna thought of everything. Very helpful with directions and making sure we understood how to work everything. I would definitely reccomend for anyone wanting to get away from the every day hustle or just needing time to reconnect.

The place was beautiful, very relaxing . Brody is a great host, no problems at all. The deer watching was the highlight of each morning and evening. We wiill be back again.
