Clean, unusual, renovation apartment is in pastoral place . We visited some interesting places in radius 1-1,5 hour driving: Urc, Enkhuizen, Zuiderzeemuseum, Giethoorn ,Zwolle(Park English Work), Museum de Fundatie/Kasteel Het Nijenhuis, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. The couple were so lovely I felt very comfortable and secure staying here as a solo traveller. It was fairly easy to get into Amsterdam using public transport and still a fraction of the price you would have paid in central Amsterdam. I would definitely recommend to stay here and if I’m in the Netherlands again I would go back :)

I am very satisfied with my weekend stay at the cottage in Hulshorst, it has everything I needed. The cottage is clean and well maintained and I had a nice time there. Marieke is a very nice and accessible person, you can always count on her help. There are a lot of woods and greenery around the cottage. It is a wonderful place to relax! Will definitely be back to Marieke's cottage. Joanna

My stay in this house was excellent. From the first moment, everything was clean and well cared for, exactly as in the photos. There were no surprises, just a cozy and perfectly maintained space. Before I came, I read a negative review that made me doubt a little, but after my experience here, I can say with total certainty that it has nothing to do with reality. The house is impeccable, cozy and very quiet, ideal for resting and disconnecting. The village is beautiful, with charming and quiet streets. In the village everyone has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, which has made my stay even more enjoyable. Finally, I want to highlight the hospitality of the host and his family. From the first moment, they were attentive and helpful, always available for anything you might need. It is a real pleasure to find hosts so committed to the well-being of their guests. Definitely recommend this house I would definitely go back!
