Holiday rentals with lake access in Fernhill

Beautiful stay with great views. My family and I really enjoyed the stay and really appreciated all the details and thought that went into designing the place. In particular, we really liked the fact there were hangers and space to put our luggage and clothes. Convenient ports to charge our devices and the place was absolutely clean and stunning. Would definitely come back to stay again in the future.

Juliet's homestay is just beautiful!The balcony is the lake view and mountain view, the matching facilities are complete, there is everything you think of here, and there is a semi-automatic coffee machine, we stayed for three days very enjoyed and saw the rainbow🌈!

We absolutely loved our stay at Laura’s and honestly feel reluctant to leave a good review because it was so great I want to keep it a secret so it doesn’t book out for our next visit!! The location was just out of this world. Waking up to the sunrise lighting up the mountains was breath taking. We went to bed each night looking up at the stars through the skylight. The apartment had everything we needed (cosy) but perfect for the two of us. There was a bus stop just down the road which made transport to Queenstown really easy and affordable. We were unable to find anything else around the area as good for the same price. So glad we ended up staying here 😊

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay & everything the property and surrounds had to offer! Thanks Fiona!

Jimmy was a very thoughtful and responsive host . The house was very comfortable with stunning views. The setting opposite the lake is beautiful, and a great base for exploring other areas of interest around Queenstown. We’d highly recommend Jimmy’s place.

Great location Beautiful view Clean, comfortable beds, soft towels, comfy couch. Overall was really nice. Only suggestion would be to improve what’s available in the kitchen eg a pair of tongs, a strainer, some oil, cling wrap, foil. Kitchen was extremely limited to be able to cook a simple meal eg pasta. No foil to line oven trays. No way to cover leftovers. No hand soap in the kitchen. A few more basic items would give this place 5 stars. Overall 4.5

We absolutely loved our stay at this house. The amazing views over the lake and towards the mountains were unbeatable. So easy to walk into town along the lake edge, and through the Queenstown Gardens. The beds were very comfortable and the place made you feel so cosy and at home straight away. Will definitely look to book again next time we are visiting Queenstown.

We travelled to Queenstown for our wedding and could not be more thrilled with our choice to stay at this beautiful property - honestly, we cannot fault a single thing! Jo has gone above and beyond to think of everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. This house will hold a very special place in our memories, and we hope to return on the future!

A truly wonderful apartment in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the town centre. Karen was an excellent host and was very responsive throughout, providing lots of local recommendations.

Great apartment. Ideal for 2 people. Beautiful view. Very clean with everything you need for a nice stay. Geoff was very easy to communicate with. Landscape work being done across the road, so access to town will be easier when it’s finished (soon)

It is a really lovely place, more than my expectation. We indeed felt like home. It is very clean, and most of the things you need are provided. The place are very cosy too. The location is just perfect, very walkable to the center, and also just next to the track trail start point. The view infront of the window is just amazing! we really enjoyed this place. if there is chance to come back again, I will choose this place again. Dawn is very responsive too. Easy to communicate. Overall, it is a wonderful stay experience!

Had a great weekend in Queenstown staying at Charlie and Rob’s. It’s a great set up, my friends and I loved it. I’d also strongly consider bringing my wife and kids back here, as the apartment would be perfect for families also.

Exceptionally beautiful stay. Stunning cottage and location, with very thoughtful and generous hosts. We loved the local art that was showcased too - a vibrant and unique collection.

The Hayes cottage was a great place to stay. Underfloor heating and the wood fire ensured we were warm all day/night long. we also really appreciated how accommodating the cottage was for our twin toddlers. It made travelling with them that much easier. The cottage is beautifully positioned offering stunning views of the lake, And the Pinot pit is a great addition to the cottage - Our boys loved toasting marshmallows under the stars. Our only negative was that we didn’t stay longer. We cannot wait to visit again one day soon.

Location was the stand out! 10-15 mins walk for central Queenstown. Cosy, plenty of parking and all amenities were great. Would stay here again when we’re back in Queenstown!

Loved our stay so much we will be back. The location is secluded but still quite central to all of the main areas of the queenstown region. Car recommended to get around. The lake Hayes area has a beautiful peaceful residential feel, with walking track around the lake itself, and surrounded by beautiful New Zealand architecture and rural properties. As a plus, the Frankston shopping centre is about a 3 minute drive and very convenient. Our favourite restaurants and winery at Ayrburn is also just a 3-4 minute drive away - incredible. The cabin was clean, well equipped and the spa and fireplace are a huge plus for the cooler months.

This place was beautiful! Loved the view, and the hosts were very patient and helpful with our sometimes redundant questions.

There is not enough praise I can give to Rob and this beautiful stay. Rob was extremely friendly, responsive, and accommodating to all requests made. We instantly felt at home as soon as we stepped into the cottage and loved every moment here. Rob was quite helpful with allowing for an earlier check in time, and later check out and ensured the place was perfectly clean and comfortable upon arrival. The place is well kept - and very peaceful to return to after a day out. The fireplace, and hot tub are perfect touches! Would give 6 stars if I could. Thank you for making this a perfect stay.

Lovely place with an incredible view! So spacious and everything was clean and as described. Felt like home away from home. Very close to nearby cycling track. Could easily cycle into town in 5 minutes.
