We at Hawaii Volcano Coffee Company welcome you to stay at our beautiful studio cottage overlooking one of our many organic coffee orchards. We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. I checked in late, around 10pm during intense rain. The long drive down the dirt road leading to the property and finding parking and the cabin was all a little sketchy pitch black darkness and rain. Was all worth it. A nice spot off the beaten path, comfortable with everything I needed. I would have stayed longer if the place wasn't already booked after my stay.

Dani was a wonderful host! Very responsive to any questions or issues. The cottage itself is very clean and private and helped us feel very connected to each other and nature. The outdoor shower is absolutely wonderful and the well equipped kitchen is a joy to prepare any meal in. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers and if you're lucky, maybe some fresh avocado or lemons! I could go on and on, but of you want to truly experience the rainforest in seclusion and comfort while not giving up the amenities of being close to civilization, do not hesitate to book here! You will not be disappointed!

I loved my stay at Mick’s place! It was super clean and comfortable. Also very quiet for working or relaxing. Mick was very responsive and helpful throughout my last minute booking and during my stay. Loved the dogs and the ponies, made me feel right at home. About a half hour (easy drive to and from) to Volcanoes National Park where I spent my days. Would definitely recommend Mick’s place to others!

Great place to stay. I loved listening to the chorus of frogs at night (bring earbuds if you need silence to sleep!). If you're shy or considering this for a trip with friends, note that there are no actual lockable doors between the shower/bathroom and anyone else - just curtains and well-managed angles. I was a little surprised by the free-roaming cats (since the Airbnb is otherwise quite nature-friendly), but enjoyed spending time with the more friendly cat who would stop by my unit. This was a great home base for visiting HVNP.

Beautiful house with tasteful furnishing. A bit cramped if the tv is pulled out because the tv is set up on a rollable cabinet but still very beautiful and comfortable place to use as base for exploring the volcano national park. Host is friendly and communicative.

What a gem! Perfect location for us and our remote work on East Coast hours. Clean! The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the walk in shower had great hot water pressure was strong. Washer and dryer were the icing on the cake.
