Holiday rentals with a patio in Ferden

We had a wonderful time. The view is fantastic and proactive communication is really worth highlighting.

Stacey was a great host that met the us at the door and gave us helpful hints on things to do. The view from the porch was AMAZING and so peaceful. We spent almost every minute there when back from the very convenient hikes just a short way away. I would absolutely recommend staying here … literally can be in a hot tub looking up at Staubach Falls like it was your very own private waterfall.

We had a nice stay in the apartment. And enjoyed the surroundings.

Cozy and winter cabin vibes. The house was spotless and well thought out (exactly like the photos). The view from the house was breathtaking. The house is situated in the middle of the town so the train station was easily accessible. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home.

Great location and very peaceful. Unusual decor but interesting (70's!) with a large modern tv. Beds were very comfortable.

The best accommodation~ The view was really awesome at a reasonable and affordable price~ Doris and her husband visited in person and told us all the things we were curious about, so we had a good time without any difficulties~ It was cleaner and tidier than our house in Korea, so we had no difficulty staying there~ Travel adapters are all equipped, and you can use the washing machine and dryer unlimitedly for about 5 francs. Grindewald Terminal was so close that it was just a stone's throw away, so I didn't feel any burden at all when I went back and forth! It was so nice that I felt like I was at home in Switzerland when I left. It was sad that I couldn't spend a lot of time at the accommodation. I liked that I didn't have to buy water because I could just drink the water! Everything was good with no downsides. However, unless it's very summer, Korean people may feel a little cold in bed, so it's a good idea to bring a travel electric blanket or a hot pack. If you don't bring it, the heating radiator is full and good, so you can replace it with that. I'll have to go again someday. I don't miss Switzerland as much, but I miss Doris's accommodation so much. Tamara’s place was absolutely amazing. We are so thankful for the short time we were able to spend in such a beautiful location. The home itself was perfection. We will definitely be staying here again!

First, I would like to thank the owners of the house, who are very nice and cooperative people The place is very beautiful in the village of Idleboden. The view is very beautiful. The pictures did not show that, but the accommodation in general is beautiful. There is only one problem. The smell of chicken in the basement is annoying and the flies because of the cowshed are annoying. I hope to open windows in all the windows of the house

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

Special weekend with my parents in the most beautiful, spectacular setting, the chalet has everything you need and is easy to get to. There are larger towns close by and we were able to cook in the excellent, well equipped kitchen, or eat out locally. The view is unbelievable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wishing we could stay longer. Highly recommended.

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

Thank you Bruno giving me a great house for staying a week. The actual environment is same as the description photos. All clean, full provide bath essentials & kitchenware, easy walk to the train station & supermarket & ferry port. Lovely to living here. ❤️

Very pleasant hostess, likeable and flexible. Accommodation matches the description and is very clean and well maintained. Simple accommodation, but everything you need is available.

It was a little expensive, but I think it's a good alternative due to the nature of the chalet, which requires a long stay. The Eiger North Wall seen from the kitchen was really cool, and it was really great to be close to Grindelwald Station and Coop. And it was useful because the washing machine was free (detergent needs to be brought separately) -!

Thierry’s place was amazing! Everything was very well prepared and Thierry was very quick to respond to any questions that came up. We had a little trouble finding the place and Thierry came and met us and showed us where to go. Thierry was a fantastic host! The view from the house is so beautiful! Pictures don’t quite capture it. Kitchen was well equipped and showers had great water pressure. The place does not have A/C (which we were aware of) but even with the fans it was still quite warm due to the hot summer temperatures we had during our stay. This is not a complaint, just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality Thierry!

We had a wonderful stay at Beni & Romy's. The apartment is idyllically located in the mountains and not far from the train station to Zermatt. It is clean, spacious and superbly equipped. Romy and Beni are great and very warm hosts. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay in David's apartment - a highlight of our trip. The apartment is STUNNING! It is better than the photos. We loved the view and enjoyed drinks on the balcony taking it all in. It was also so easy to catch the local bus right outside the apartment with the local guest card that you get when booking. David was so responsive and helpful with recommendations. Would highly recommend for anyone coming to this beautiful part of the world!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Manuela was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind—offering true 5-star hospitality from the moment we arrived. The house itself was spotless and beautifully arranged, with everything feeling fresh and new. All the amenities worked perfectly, especially the water heater and other heating equipment, which we appreciated even during our summer visit. During our stay, the weather was quite warm. While we chose not to open the windows to avoid flies, it would have been even more comfortable if a movable fan or a fly swatter could be provided in the future. That said, this is just a small suggestion, and it didn’t take away from the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again!

The place was amazing! Me, my husband & my little 2 kids enjoyed the stay at this beautiful apartment. The location is just perfect near to the center of Grindelwald. The view was incredible! It was a memorable place. The host was very helpful & friendly, he responded right away to my messages. The only thing that I would recommend the place to have is an iron set. Otherwise everything else was just in point. Thank you Reto for your kindness.
