Access to hiking, mountain biking, coast trail and surfing is within minutes. We are taking the current coronavirus situation very seriously, and have implemented advanced cleaning procedures.

A group of us were in town for a wedding and Jeff’s place was absolutely lovely. The room in the shed in the back, which we affectionately referred to as the “rave cave” was very cool with the LED lighting. The grill was perfect for our Friday night bbq dinner and we loved having an option for an outdoor shower!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

My husband used this spot to get ready for our wedding. While it was hard to get to, the instructions made it possible. The space was gorgeous inside and out and would have made a fantastic getaway. I would suggest getting there in daytime with lots of snacks so you don’t have to worry about leaving and coming back. This is a beautiful place to hunker down. She was thoughtful as well and left us champagne and chocolate!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on the deck above the creek. Surrounded by beauty and the sounds of the creek created a sweet spot! The lighting was an excellent touch. The accommodations had everything that you need and the bed was extremely comfortable! We would stay again!!!

Gorgeous Cabin in Mount Hermon

This is my 3rd time staying here, and I'm already looking forward to a 4th. It's a delightful cabin with a treehouse, nestled in the redwoods right along my favorite childhood trail. To sit out on the deck is to be in the forest. And it's a quick walk on the adjacent trails to see where Ferndell Creek becomes a waterfall, joining both Bean Creek and Zaynate Creek. If you want a quick redwood getaway, stay here, ignore Henry Cowell Redwoods, and do the Fall Creek Trail to Ridge Trail Loop instead. It's 4.2 miles, 750 elevation gain, and nearly all of it follows beautiful redwood creeks. The locals are so lucky to have this as their backyard.
