Fanningstown Castle is a romantic, gothic style castle dating from the 12th Century which has been sensitively restored over the years to a lovely, spacious, relaxing space in which to relax with family & friends. The castle is nestled among dairy farms 3 miles from Adare in the heart of the Golden Vale region so lots of green fields and cows grazing. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Also, many people like to stop in Adare for a night or two on their way to other beautiful parts of Ireland like Kerry, Cork, Galway or Clare which are all within a 1 hour drive.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
