Hand-built on our 300-acre Sweet Valley Ranch, it features a deck directly over the water and access to 350+ animals, stocked ponds, trails, playground, and a Cape Hatteras replica lighthouse. Enjoy golf cart & ATV rentals. Our Dinosaur World, NC’s largest permanent dinosaur attraction, is open seasonally (June–August). Peaceful, family friendly, and full of adventure.

The Barn Apt sits above a working barn. This apartment is not only a room, but an experience. The Barn Apt has 2 bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom, modest kitchen with a sink, microwave, griddle, and blender. With double doors open, this room has the most magnificent view of the farm. The farm is 30 acres of an eclectic collection of farm animals, pond, woods, and wide open spaces. Ask about bringing your horse. We specialize in long term travel professionals.

Your Windy Lake Getaway

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly lakehouse. The main floor was built in 1938 by Vicky‘s grandfather and moved to this prime location on the east side of the lake. It sits on an 83 acre parcel. All the main floor details are as close as we could keep them to the original. Furnishings and decor allow us to reminisce. The newly built second floor is a spacious modern cabin with natural pine bead board walls and 14 ft ceilings. Fishing encouraged!
