Tiny house holiday rentals in Faro District

We spent a week in the "Quinta Kakelbont", which more than lives up to its name. The apartment is super sweetly decorated and spotlessly clean - everything as indicated and recognizable in the photos. Sjoukje and Carlos and their four-legged friends (4 dogs and 2 more or less small "mini pigs") give the whole thing a special charm. We were warmly welcomed and bid farewell by everyone. If we had any questions or recommendations, we were always given a helpful answer and the contact via chat was also possible without any problems and quickly. If you prefer a quiet yet central location, you've come to the right place. Lagos is the next largest city, only 10 minutes away by car, to spend a day at the beach, do some shopping, or relax in one of the countless cafes or restaurants. Mickael, was there to greet us when first arrived, and showed us around the unit. There was a nice welcome package of wine, beer & snacks. The accommodation was very clean and well appointed. Was great to have the washing machine available within the unit, and outside drying facilities. Bathroom had a good size walk in shower and was very clean. There were rural noises, which is pretty normal for this area of the Algarve, dogs & cockerels, which we soon learned to tune out during our stay. We had a hire car to get around the area and recommend to anyone else staying here to do the same. The unit was a nice size for two adults for 3 weeks, it could sleep 4, however, this would have been cramped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It really felt like a little piece of paradise! We loved how immersed in nature it felt & particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, being able to watch the sunset every night from the terrace & being able to make our own freshly squeezed orange juice from the plentiful oranges. The daily visits from the dogs was also a joy. Jurgen & his parents were lovely hosts. Lots of places to visit nearby & great eating recommendations too. We will definitely be back!

We were the only guests at Quinta del Tempo so we had the lovely garden to ourselves. It was lovely to come back to the house after a day out and to relax in the garden, listening to multiple nightingales, not to mention the frogs. The view all the way to the coast was wonderful. The tiny house was very comfortable, very clean and kept in good repair. There is plenty of garden furniture to use. Jorge was very helpful. We were only a mile or 2 from Monchique where there is a supermarket.

We loved our stay at Cristina’s place in Lagos! The space itself is well-located, clean, comfortable, nicely-decorated and appointed with everything you need including such items as beach towels—and is part of a lovely villa. Cristina was such a welcoming host and offered many excellent recommendations for nearby beaches, food, coffee and other items known by locals to be good. I only wish we had more time in Lagos!

We had a very pleasant stay! The accommodation is in a quiet location with a beautiful garden and great views – perfect for relaxing. The hammock and the barbecue in particular made for cosy evenings. The interior was clean and well equipped. David was always available and had many helpful tips for excursions and restaurants in Lagos and the surrounding area. Short walks to the city centre and beaches. Highly recommended!

Very nice stay! Two beaches practically on your doorstep and many restaurants. The ferry into Faro is only €4 return and goes very regularly along the strip. Highly recommend Faro and this AirBnB :)

I had an amazing stay at Talurdo! The area is very secluded and calming. It was so relaxing to walk around, chill in the hangmat, sweat in the sauna, look at the stars … Chris and David are the most lovely hosts. 10/10 would reccommend for a detox getaway in nature.

We stayed at Max’s place for two nights and can wholeheartedly recommend it. This is exactly what Airbnb was made for. You’re completely secluded in a small cabin in the woods that blends beautifully with nature. My personal highlight was the shower – right under a tree, yet with regular fixtures. The composting toilet is, as promised, completely odorless. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics, and the bed deserves a special mention for its comfort. Absolutely two thumbs up! Also within 20-30 minutes by car you have some beautiful beaches nearby.

Our stay at Fedja's, Ivan and Nicki's place in Luz was amazing! We were able to check in earlier which was very handy. The instructions to check in were super clear and the communication with Nicki was great! We felt right at home and the house was stunning, the area is great too, close to the beaches and a lot of parking space! I fully recommend spending your sunny days in this beautiful Airbnb! :)

Amazing to stay here! Surrounded by beautiful nature and horses. Horse back riding was very fun! There is a very pretty lake on 10 minutes driving where you can swim, host was very friendly and drove us there. Very happy we stayed here!

Wow! First of all, what can I say about Ellen's kindness. She welcomed us warmly and showed us around the place. She took the time to suggest activities as well as restaurants nearby. She even texted us a lot of useful information. She also had snacks and cold drinks. We quickly felt comfortable. The place is like the pictures. It's extremely well decorated and peaceful. The place is beautiful and is perfect for relaxing with the sounds of nature all around. We also really enjoyed that there were beach accessories available to us. It was very convenient. In short, we loved our short stay and will definitely come back if we return to the area. We would highly recommend this place for a quiet vacation!

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful space. Eike and Anna and their family were the warmest, kindest hosts, full of helpful local suggestions and very responsive. The flowers and welcome basket were lovely touches. Attention to detail is excellent, the property is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Two great showers and lots of towels. The location is stunning. We loved eating meals on the terrace with views across the valley, playing basketball, swimming in the pool under the stars, the outdoor shower, using the hammock and exploring the local area. The family have dogs and cats which our kids loved as they were all very gentle and friendly. It’s a 20 minute drive to local shops and restaurants, and the road up to the house is a typical mountain road. Would highly recommend staying here, our teenage daughter described it as “paradise”.

A cozy, eco-friendly place surrounded by nature. Thoughtfully designed with minimal waste, fully equipped, and very comfortable. Delicious açaí bowls option for breakfast. Close to very nice Burgau beach.

We had an amazing stay!

Karen and Jürgen are certainly among the most welcoming people I've ever met via Airbnb, it's the opposite of all these vacation home factories that clutter this website now! Here, the place is magical, quiet and inspiring, it really was a pleasure to discover this little house and we hope to come back as soon as possible. Karen and Jürgen, in addition to being friendly and welcoming, are people with a great sense of humor and it's very much appreciated. Thanks again for our stay!! PS: Don't listen to Waze to get there, and instead read the instructions they'll send you by .pdf this will save you from getting lost in the pampas, finally Jürgen will be happy to explain everything to you while joking about our adventure ;-)

If you are looking for peace and beautiful nature the "little house" is for you. Picking oranges from the trees in the morning was just magical! The sound of the bees humming in the trees, the little geckos and sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine was bliss. The total privacy, the stars at night and the hammock made for a perfect holiday. Perfect little cabin, super clean, comfy bed and enough kitchen equipment to make meals was just perfect. Great full sized fridge and freezer. I loved the little outside kitchen and bathroom. Jacqueline and Rudd were super friendly, flexible with check in/out. Beautiful Silves is a short drive away as are the beaches of the Algarve. It would be a good idea to print out instructions to the "little house" before you arrive as there is totally no signal en route to it. Stop off at the snack bar on the way for some great piri piri chicken! Also pack a freezer bag to buy frozen goods etc from the nearby supermarkets.

A gem in the immediate vicinity of the west coast. Beautiful base to many beautiful beaches and the Algarve. Fantastic nature cottage in quiet surroundings. Fully equipped. The private canopy on the terrace, the view and the quiet location in nature was an experience for us. Timo and Christina were very friendly and always got an immediate answer and a warm welcome. What made it more than special was the swimming pond with a jetty and the wonderful chill-out area. The photos accurately reflect the atmosphere as we found it. We had a particularly nice week at this location.

It is impossible not to like the space, the house, the garden, the environment, the pool, the privacy that you get, the courtesy of those who welcome us, the refinement of every detail. An experience to have and repeat. Beautiful sunset from the snack. Possibility of late and completely unbureaucratised checkout. The mill is excellent for a faster passage (two or three days). The best houses are probably for stays of more than 3 days. Other properties of the Selão da Eira are very tempting, although in my opinion they are for different stays - Casa das Rolas for stays for larger groups of guests and the Paraiso de Natureza for liberation from the daily hustle and bustle. Finally, a reference to the sympathy and availability of Mr. Tiago.

It was a nice stay at Joao's. The tiny house is well furnished and maintained. The wonderful, central and quiet location in the idyllic garden is wonderful. Joao is always helpful and very likeable. Casa Gaia is another world, a santuary for horses and some dogs, lead by the calm and friendly Marine. This is where your unconsious mind comes to the surface again. Where the horses greet you at your porch and show you that nature can be found within you.

Januk and Teun welcomed us personally and very warmly - the homeowners were also on holiday. Casa Joia is an independent cottage on the beautiful estate of the owners and strategically very well located to explore the western Algarve. Here you can retreat from the hustle and bustle around Lagos and enjoy the pool with a bottle of wine. Wine and fresh drinks can be obtained from the bar, which is open to everyone, and payment is made independently without control - this shows the spirit that prevails on the estate. Everything is very familiar, clean and informal. Don't be put off by the reviews that complain about the poor access road, everything is not that bad. The road is indeed potholed, but only on a very short stretch. The house has no air conditioning, I could imagine that it gets very hot in the summer.
