“This cabin was great. It has a great view and is a quick walk to the lake. We spent most of our time cooking, swimming, and kayaking. The town is a bit remote and for those of you concerned about COVID just know no one in this time really wears a mask so prepare yourself. The cabin is completely isolated so if you come with everything you need you should be fine. We stayed for a few days and did a day trip to the Acadia National Park which was awesome. At the cabin, there was no water to shower with because of a lack of rain from the previous days but we came prepared. The porter potty was probably the cleanest I've ever seen. There was a chipmunk in the house our first morning but he found his way out within minutes. We were also greeted by a bald eagle flying overhead, hummingbirds, two wild turkeys, a few turtles in the lake, constant chipmunks, but sadly never a moose. This place was great but next time we're in Maine we'll probably stay closer to Acadia since there's more to do in that area. If you're looking for something completely remote this is it! Also, we HIGHLY recommend having an SUV if you're coming here. The drive down to the house is like the road course at Land Rover lol. We rented an SUV after reading some other reviews.”

“Thanks Randell And Pamela. Their small house is located on the top and offers a good view. They have two cute dogs. The house has everything you need. There is a place for BBQ. A place for a bonfire. There are a lot of beautiful places in the area. Randell And Pamela will always help and answering your requests. And a huge plus that you can be with your pets. Having visited them, you will not regret it. Thanks to them for that.”
Adorable camp in the foothills of the western mountains of Maine. Knotty pine interior, private location, near 4 season recreational activities. Perfect get-away locale. 1 bedroom w/queen, loft w/2 twins, & a futon in open living area.
“Jayne's camp was beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed a fire each night in the backyard, and it was in a perfect location to access Mt. Blue State Park and drive into the mountains further north. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were also plenty of DVDs and games, which we took full advantage of when the weather was less than ideal.”
