Monthly Rentals in Falaride

It was one of the best experiences for our vacation with the 2 kids. We felt like home: the small house with everything we needed, the big garden from which we were alowed to take oranges, grapfruits, lemons and japonese fruits. Il sog Campisi who gently offered himself to show us locations for eating, making small shops in Avola, the quiet zone, the space for kids playing outside and the sea to which we had access for relaxation. Jacopo was very friendly and reliable! The house was not easy to find - right behind the largest supermarket chains is a small former farmhouse - so shopping on foot is very close. The view and terrace go into a lemon grove, it was surprisingly quiet and you didn't notice anything from the main street. House was like a loft in a traditional farmhouse. Very nice kitchen, nice rooms and furnishings. To Avola Marina only a few minutes by car. We felt very comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay at the Blue House. Titti, who lives next door, was very helpful and gave great tips for local restaurants and activities. We were lucky with the weather and, despite visiting in the off-season, enjoyed breakfast outside in the sun. The location offers beautiful ocean views and is a great starting point for day trips—a rental car is highly recommended! A stunning beach with cliffs is also nearby. Avola felt a bit aged as a tourist spot, with some closed or abandoned booths and restaurants and a few run-down buildings, likely due to the off-season. While we found other places in Sicily more picturesque, they were also more touristy. We had one power cut after using too many devices (stove, hairdryer, AC/heating), but once we figured it out, it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, we recommend the place!
