Apartment holiday rentals in Fairbanks North Star Borough

One of the best places ever. Plenty to do in the area. Free buses if over 65. Or $3. Went to Museum of the North, Antique Car Museum, Morris Thompson Cultural Centre and more. Pioneer Park was 200m and included a huge old paddlewheeler, a plane museum and a great nightly live theatre show. Empanada House is next door but only open Thursday to Saturday and very popular. A river walk goes from behind the building and a Cinema is just 300m away. We had Youtube to watch any shows we wanted plus access to Prime Video. Washer plus dryer was great, as was central heating. You won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay here! Not only is the place comfortable and a great location but the hosts were super helpful and friendly too. They recommended places to eat, things to do, and the best spot to see the northern lights. If we come back to Fairbanks, we would stay here again!

Jon’s place was in great condition and had everything we needed for our stay. The house is 5 min from a small grocery store if you need anything quick and 15 min from North Pole town. We felt safe while we stayed there and were happy with how peaceful the neighborhood was. You can see the northern lights by just stepping outside. Jon even texted us at night to let us know we could see them which was super helpful. He was accommodating and always very responsive. Checkin and checkout were also very easy and we had no problems. I would recommend staying here

Very nice upstairs unit. We felt safe and secure in this area even though it is close to businesses that make noise very early in the morning. Convenient to many things including university campus. Designated parking spot is nice. Abbie checked in on us and made sure everything was going well. Even left delicious snacks waiting for us on arrival.

A great place to stay if you're looking to see or photograph the aurora - you can just step outside. It's close enough to Fairbanks that there's a little light pollution to the south, but it wasn't much of a problem as the strongest aurora was to the north. I appreciated the big windows in the living room and how the sun came in for most of the day.

This was the perfect place for my Fairbanks stay. It was close to my family member’s home, plus easy access to major roadways made it a great location. It was very clean and comfortable, in a quiet and nice little neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit. Highly recommend it!

The unit was perfect for two people very clean lots of towels pillows even extra water bottles . Other reviews noted upstairs noise , it really was minimal and hardly noticeable , parking was great , close to back gate of Fort Wainwright . If I had any negative it would be the sofa it wasn’t the most comfortable but nothing extra pillows couldn’t fix . Bed was super comfy . Neighbors do have a dog but I’m an animal Lover and the dog only barks when you come and go by their door , it wasn’t an issue at all no night barking and I appreciate the warning if someone is around . Coffee hut is close by and downtown area airport stores etc are a fifteen minute drive ,roads were plowed well maintained . This was well priced and perfect clean safe home base for our stay would definately re-book.

Lisa was a lovely host! We didn’t spend a lot of time there but enjoyed the time we had there! Would recommend this cute little place again! Very clean and accommodating. Loved her choices of coffee!! And thank you for the little snacks! Those were nice and unexpected!

Heather was a great host! They were very flexible when I had to switch the dates of my stay due to work. Beautiful apartment and was very close to many food spots, highly recommend!

This penthouse is absolutely beautiful and it is located right in the heart of Fairbanks, AK! It truly gives that special experience you want to have on a vacation. It doesn't matter if you've already been to Fairbanks once or a hundred times, this is a beautiful place to be. I stayed for a week and I had everything I could have wished for at home. The entrance is private, safe and secure. There's so many wonderful things to say about the area and all the places to see and enjoy! This penthouse airbnb and it's location downtown is definitely top-tier! Thank you to the hosts for such a wonderful stay!

We loved staying at Nick’s place. It was comfy and cozy. The bed was perfect. I slept very well every night. It was the perfect location for us. I highly recommend this lovely place.

I highly recommend this little studio for your stay in Fairbanks. Private yard and entrance was so nice. Perfect for one person and no hassle with anything. I totally enjoyed my stay . Thank you.

This had been one of the best places in which we had stayed, the place was great, wonderful Holidays decoration, perfect location close to everything, the mattress were great as well as the pillows, we were able to sleep as if we were at home. Really, this place has everything for a great stay. we greatly recommend this unit.

We had the loveliest stay at Leila and Nate's place this March! The apartment was extremely clean, cozy, and private, and had everything we needed and then some--the shower particularly was very nice and big. It is obvious Leila and Nate take great pride in their property, and more broadly in their home of Fairbanks and the surrounding area, with their extensive local tips. A lovely handwritten card from Leila welcoming us was a lovely touch, and we're very grateful to both of them for welcoming us into their home. We will definitely be choosing their place again the next time we are in the area!

Stayed here March 2025 with my parents and Anna’s place was the perfect location for our needs! It was easy to get to, close to town but also far away enough to see the northern lights right from the driveway! Saw them almost every night of our stay with one strong show that was truly magnificent. Anna’s hospitality was also on point. After a long day of travel, arrived to find snacks waiting and other super nice amenities that added just that extra touch. And her response time to messages was superb. I do want to mention though, the faucet water smelled and tasted a bit like metal. It wasn’t discolored or anything so felt safe enough and I also read somewhere that that is a common issue in that area. We just bought some jugs of water from the store around the corner for drinking which was no big deal. Would definitely stay at this location again-especially when trying to comfortably chase the auroras! :)

This is a cozy apartment, enough for a family of three or four, located in the center of the city, convenient for traveling.The room is clean, the owner is warm and hospitable, and I will come again in the future.

This place more than exceeded our expectations everything was very thoughtful! Full kitchen with all the amenities made cooking a breeze! The dishwasher made quick work of the dishes after. The washer and dryer is such a plus! The bathroom heated floors! The hot tub very clean and well maintained and the view so peaceful! The book with helpful resources and local recommendations was such a lovely touch! This could easily sleep 6 people and with it just being the two of us we felt like royalty staying here! Don’t miss out on this location memories made here will last a lifetime!
