House holiday rentals in Fahan

Came to Ireland for a family vacation - 8 adults and a 1 year old. This was our third AirBnb on the trip and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! So much history but with modern amenities. It was the best part of our trip. Went on many walks - over to the castle and to Harvey's Point stopping at the Famine Pot and seeing great views of the lake & farm animals along the way. Stayed three nights and used the pool/pond and sauna every day. The dining & living rooms were really spacious. We cooked all of our meals - the kitchen is a great set up with loads of dishes and anything you could need. The butcher in town had a great selection. Musical instruments were a huge bonus. It was quite warm for May so we didn't have a chance to have any fires - but the fireplaces would be wonderful for cool nights. There is also the 'wagon' which has a double bed, small kitchen and seating area and an adjacent full bathroom available. Rose was always a message away and super helpful. Loved it!

We were astonished by this place. The house is so deceiving from the front but once you enter it’s completely modern with an en-suite in every single bedroom, you would swear you were staying in the hotel itself. The rooms were spotless and the staff on site were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back here again soon and will be recommending this place to everyone who is looking for a staycation. Thanks again for a great night away.

We had a wonderful time at Barbara's place! The space was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail really stood out, everything from the cozy linens to the thoughtful little touches like extra towels and the selection of breakfast items, made our stay feel extra special. Barbara was extremely welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating she was throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot to stay!

An unforgettable retreat with breathtaking views of sloping hillsides and the lough in the distance. The house is designed to showcase the scenery, with huge windows throughout that flood the space with light and offer stunning vistas from every room. The pool is large enough for both exercise and fun, and the outdoor wood-fired hot tub is a perfect way to unwind while enjoying the scenery and smell of wood fire. Inside, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to cook and entertain. Luxury linens and comfortable furnishings make every moment indoors feel indulgent. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a space that’s both stylish and deeply relaxing. A perfect escape — peaceful, beautiful, and hard to leave. We can’t wait to come back.

This home is worth any price they ask! The magnificent view made us want to simply sit at the huge window and watch the days go by. But there were many other things to do in the area. Meeting the host was an enjoyable experience. Every possible convenience was available. The bedding was comfortable and exactly as described. We fully intend to go back again.

The house was immaculate, with everything we needed and more. Clean, spacious, and a home from home feeling. Superb location which was local to everything we needed. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Amazing stay.

How is this for the review? We had a lovely weekend in Rose Cottage. Shops and restaurants were just a 20 minute walk away.Everything was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. There were plenty of towels and a fabulous drying room. We had a problem with the shower that Gerard responded to immediately. The hot tub had seats for 3 but could accommodate 4. If you want to use it the first evening you would need to ask to have it heated in advance. Although we didn't use it, the games room was great. The garden was not secure but offered plenty of space. I would highly recommend Rose Cottage.

Martina’s place was just as described! Very clean, beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Martin was very friendly, and always responded right away! I wish we had more time to stay but now we know where to stay in the future. Thank you Martina!

We noticed that this house was wheelchair friendly there was enough space to move the chair around the house easy access to the sitting rooms and bedroom but most of all what attracted us to this house was the wet room this is why we choose this house. We had a lovely time.

We had a great few days at Gorseland House. With mixed weather, we appreciated that the house was a lovely place to spend time when wind and rain prevented us from going out on big expeditions. The children adored the trampoline, climbing frame and other toys, while the grownups loved the hot tub, cold tub and sauna! We also did a lot of cooking in the house and were able to easily find everything we needed. Thank you Keith and Carolyn, you have a gorgeous home.

We had a great stay here as a large group of 14. It was really spacious and clean. 20 minutes walk into Buncrana and with beautiful coastal views. Lots of bars and beaches nearby. We would definitely come back.

The location is very peaceful with amazing views of Lough Swilly and close to Buncrana and the beautiful Lisfannon beach. The house itself is very spacious and very well equipped for large groups.

Fantastic location and very picturesque. The views from every window is just beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable and we have a fab week staying there and would definitely look forward to a return visit. This is a lovely cottage at a very quiet beach just a 1 minute walk through a grassy area. Sea views from living room window. House was cosy and warmed up quickly when heat was on. There was everything needed for a short stay. I wasn't aware there was no WiFi until we arrived and mobile service was patchy. But this was fine as it was a relaxing stay we were after It would be good if there was somewhere to store sandy shoes etc outside rather than having to bring them inside when raining. It would also be great if towels were provided and there were blackout blinds in bedrooms. We hope to be back thanks

We had a great few nights away in Laura's and John's stunning home. We have house envy lol. So quite and chilled there. With the best beaches in the country only a short drive away. Close to Buncrana as well if it's coffees and stout your looking.

I couldn’t speak more highly of our experience. From pre-arrival contact…to instructions…friendliness and then the house! We fell in love with it as soon as we arrived. It is stunning. The best amenities I have had in an Airbnb. You can sit and look at the view for hours. Unbelievably relaxing. Easy walk along the front for a good selection of restaurants bars coffee shops and stunning ice cream. 12 quid in a taxi to Portrush. Fantastic golf courses we played in the area. Back next year for sure. Perfect trip.

Aiden’s chalet was in a great location- just a few minutes drive from the Downings. He left lots of useful local information and instructions on how to work everything in the house. There was lots of space and everything was immaculate! We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
