This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family with children or friends. The 4-person cottage is in a small hamlet in the Ardèche, surrounded by nature, and belongs to the same owner, with a shared swimming pool. The cottage is close to our farm (Galowé cows, sheep, chestnuts). A very pleasant and comfortable, fully equipped cottage with a view of the valley. There is a small river, "La Lande", below for the children to play in. Nearby are listed villages, and you can go down the Ardèche in a canoe...

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .
