This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Thad’s place was honestly perfect. They have thought of truly every detail needed for a nice cabin weekend: fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games for adults, toys for kids, a box of workout items (bands, roller, etc) even fresh tennis balls for your pup. I also really appreciated how clean their place was. Not all lakefront cabins feel really clean, but they clearly take great care of their place. The outdoor area was so nice - plenty of games available, kayaks, canoes and SUP. The little beach is a huge plus too! It was great for my 9 month old daughter. The location is ideal - very quiet area and no major boat traffic. Also want to point out that their AC is amazing (our weekend temps were mid 90s and humid!). We will definitely be back to Thad’s place and are already looking forward to it!

Getting the lake view was amazing and seeing alot of wildlife was exciting. Thankfully the bed was comfortable too! The cabin had everything we needed too. Thanks for having us 🙂

We spent a few days here with our three kids (ages 8, 5, and 2) and it was the perfect getaway. The property is gorgeous with the lake being shallow and great for littles to swim in. Tina was an exceptional host and even brought our kids some activities to do on the rainy days. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to be back some day!
