Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Evora

Joao met us as the house for check in - he was friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendations for close hikes and river beaches, including the google map links! The house was immaculate, beautiful with modern upgrades while still maintaining charming 100 year old historical details and furnishings. The private pool was 100% the best part of this stay. Not huge, but enough space for 4 or 5 to get in and have fun. Lots of shady deck seating, and the air conditioning in the house was great in the 37 degrees weather. With 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there was plenty of room for all 5 of us. Not a lot to do within the village, but essentials were met with a few markets and restaurants. It was a nice break to be in a quiet, sleepy village for our stay in Portugal. Highly recommend if you're looking for a relaxing, slow pace to your vacation. I would definitely stay again. The space is excellent, very welcoming and sheltered, even though it is in a place with houses around it, it is very private and with total privacy. The house has more than enough space and conditions for 4/5 people, everything tidy and quite clean. The pool is small, but enough to cool off from the Alentejo heat. As for Carlos, he was an excellent host, always available for any questions, always with clear and concise information. The check-in process was super simple, and the instructions were always clear. I plan to return, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet place.

The hosts are wonderful! Everything was great. The couple are very generous and welcoming. They let the children pick fresh strawberries, and much more. The place is quiet and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is perfect with many clean and fresh towels. Our little dog had a lot of outdoors to hang around safetly. We will definitely come again!

We love our stay! The house is beautiful and cosy. Just a little cold, but with heaters in every room and fireplace to keep us warm in winter. The super friendly and friendly hosts, we feel at home! The village is very welcoming and the perfect starting point for a getaway to the discovery of the treasures of the high Alentejo! ❤️

Excellent stay! The house is very nice, even better than the photographs show. Pedro and his father, Mr. Manuel, are very friendly and very attentive hosts. Mr. Manuel, who welcomed us and even left us a wonderful bread for breakfast the next morning. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful place, fully equipped with everything we need. Comfortable beds. All windows have mosquito nets and shutters. extremely hot weekend, it was always cool. During the day, the outdoor space by the pool with sun loungers, a hat and a pergola area for dining is perfect. In the morning and at night (with a citronella candle and some repellent) the floral pergola area in front of the house was all we needed to enjoy the weekend. It is 40 minutes from the beaches of Melides, Aberta Nova, Pego and Carvalhal, and 10 minutes from Alcácer do Sal where there is everything we need, restaurants and supermarkets.

We really enjoyed our stay - watching the sunset over the vineyard, stargazing, and warming ourselves by the fire. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Great stay at Luis's place, everything was perfect. The house is absolutely charming, typical and located in the beautiful little village of the potters Sao Pedro Do Corval. Delicate attention from Luis upon arrival. I recommend it 100%.

A good place to relax and have a good holiday.

We were very warmly welcomed by Lucia and Cuno. We immediately got some extra toys for our daughter and a bath that she could play in during our stay. Furthermore, it was a very nice environment and place to stay the last few days of our holiday. Also had a few good tips from Lucia and Cuno for excursions that were also suitable with a small child. Thanks for a great time!!

We liked the apt. It was an easy drive to grocery stores and to attractions. Easy out of the city and in to the apt. The apt was roomy and well kept. We reccomend.

The host was amazing to accommodate with our needs.

Charlotte was very helpful as during our stay there was a power failure throughout Portugal and she ensured that we had what we needed. On our departure there were no ubers or taxis to take us to the bus terminal and Charlotte's husband drove us. Charlotte's place is in a great location and the bed was extremely comfortable.

It was fantastic staying at Hugo's place. We will repeat again safely. And I highly recommend this wonderful house in the Alentejo

Even more lovely in person! A peaceful and relaxing retreat. I highly recommend. Just be sure you have your gps working as we lost connection and would easily have gotten lost (half of our group did).

Absolutely beautiful! A must stay! Nice little gift basket, super clean and just amazing. Super comfy beds and plenty of space. If you go in the summer there is a pool and a fire pit area. So much outside entertainment areas. Good food restaurant recommendations. Easy access to the wineries, Monsaraz and Evora. Dora was very responsive. Thank you Dora!

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

excellent space to be with the whole family and especially for the four-legged ones. Fantastic natural pool and has all the conditions for a fabulous stay. Spacious, air-conditioned suites are very comfortable and the kitchen is very functional. Beautiful and comfortable outdoor space.

Our stay was simply fantastic! We were a large group and yet everything went perfectly. The house was impeccable, super well equipped and we lacked absolutely nothing.
